  1. Past hour
  2. Galaxy brain take is that BB converted the 2019-2021 Pats as a power running quick game offense, which was ahead of the curve based on what we saw in 2024.
  3. The health care system sounds like it allows you to profit handsomely, but everyone has their cross to carry.
  4. Nope. You were talking about what might have happened if he hadn't played 7 seeds in the wildcard rounds. But he did. That's what happened.
  5. Even if this is true, does it matter? BB proved to be pretty good when Brady was in his prime. Sure it petered off after a million Super Bowls when Tom was 1000 years old but who cares? Is the expectation that we are competing for championships 8-10 years from now when Josh retires? That’s unrealistic with any coach/GM. Furthermore, Bill won’t be coaching that far into the future.
  6. He did build the roster for the 2nd dynasty though.... and that was a good roster. Their drafting late 00s early 10s was good and that is when he built the core of the team that won the 3 Superbowls vs Seattle, Atlanta and LA. The drafting fell off in about 2013/2014... which does suggest the league had passed him by a bit. I think the rule changes really started to accentuate the physical talent over the football smarts again and Bill didn't really keep up with that. He still wanted to draft guys who work hard, understand their assignment and do their job and then coach them to within an inch of their lives.
  7. There was some evidence that Araiza committed what he was accused of, and that’s enough. There is literally no evidence of Hairston committing what he is accused of. ”Believe Women” means you when these accusations come out, you do your best to fully investigate the claims. That was done in this case
  8. We were the 2 seed, they were the 3 seed. Gamblers had more confidence in Bmore than Buffalo, that's why the line was where it was. The line follows the money, nothing else.
  9. Ah yes breaking the law is so courageous. All in your feelings this am.
  10. Nothing is guaranteed. Like Sean McDermott’s improvement as a coach. 100% not guaranteed. He may be a solid coach who gets slapped around every year in the postseason (0-5 vs the Bengals and Chiefs there FYI) and never reaches the mountaintop, despite having an all time great QB, and ultimately remains one of the biggest “what ifs” in NFL history. Some folks want to wait to find out if that’s the case. I’ve seen enough. That’s okay.
  11. So what did I say that was didn't actually happen? Were the road records incorrect? Was McDermott's record against non 7 seeds incorrect? If you come up with stats and I come with other stats, you can't discredit me because it goes against your narrative.
  12. I would like to think we learned something from that case as well... and the differences are this situation was known and vetted pre combine, investigated by the University and found to have no merit and this is civil case where th burden of proof required is far less than a criminal case which was not brought... it reeks of a money grab like Ariazas did though so very similar in that regard. Truth...
  13. Also, the Bills were not going to let a possible SB team be asked weekly about the status of their rookie punter's sexual assault investigation. It was an unnecessary distraction and simply not worth keeping him
  14. LOL You're the one eliminating all of McDermott's wins against 7th seed teams for your argument! You know the Raven's were road favorites against the Bills last year....I guess that doesn't qualify as an upset.
  15. folsom prison Johnny cash prison is not meant to be a fun place. But for a while these men were free for a bit to enjoy this performance.
  16. Also you need to find a lawyer to take a case like this on contingency (I am assuming) and it won’t be worth it to the lawyer unless the defendant has assets. So the “timing” is likely that. Civil suits are not cheap, no one is going to pursue one against someone with no money, most of the time.
  17. For Medicare, you are correct. The middlemen esp in the pharmacy programs are ripping everyone off. The hospitals are charging ridiculous prices but Medicare won't pay those. They have set reimbursement levels. There are many shady medical equipment companies (wheelchairs, scooters, infusions etc). There are many people on disability that shouldn't be - usually the poor. And there are some shyster docs and midlevels but they're a small part of the problem and they usually get caught. I know of 2 in prison right now, acquiatances, not friends. Some of the equipment companies are part of organized crime.
  18. Feels like the two stories were very different, even though also very similar in the presumption of innocence sense. Cant tell if there were massive differences or if we’re just at a different time and space in society. Maybe both. Dont think we’ll see a nationwide panic over this one.
  19. All because the dum ass libs allowed a bunch of illegal immigrants into the country and giving them free housing so they can get more free votes so they have to build a bunch of apartment complexes to house them all so they can get them out of the "free" hotel space that they took up . Then the fact that those that are wising up to the tax structure in Cali, NY, Chicago, Seattle, Conn, & other places moving to states like Tenn, Fl, Ala, & others that are bringing in industry and are better suited to keep their money and so they have to build more housing to accommodate those running from the higher taxed states .
  20. All civil lawsuits are by definition money grabs. She filed a police report back when the incident allegedly happened and has posted about it on social media over the years. She is now trying to pursue her final chance at some kind of recourse. My speculative take is that the girl genuinely feels like she was wronged, but that doesn't mean she actually was in a legal sense. There is in fact a middle ground on this issue between "Hairston is a rapist" and "the girl is a lying money grabber." But it's a very messy middle ground with no clear answers.
  21. Message boards aren't exclusively made to talk about hypothetical scenarios.
  22. I blame the Bills for inviting the distraction in a year where we had legit SB aspirations. For a punter no less.
