For 2026 there are some big name players that I think we should move on from. Dawkins - his play doesn't seem to warrant what he is being paid and the more he talks the less impressed I am with him. Knox - he has gotten enough $ already from the Bills, I don't care that he is buddies with Josh, we shouldn't keep anyone for the sake of "harmony". Shakir - it is less about him, more about I want to see other options in the slot, no problem if he stays but his ceiling has been reached and we need more. Bernard - I just cannot see what he brings, always injured, only had one good year, he will be a liability going forward. Johnson - Father Time is calling and he has been a great Buffalo Bill but we need a replacement for him as a starter. It seems like McDermott and Beane will be here next year no matter what so I would expect all the players to be back next year. I would replace all of them even if we win a miracle Super Bowl this year yet I am going to root for all of them whilst they are still Buffalo Bills.

Ask me after Sunday. If we beat Pitt on the road, I could see that starting a run, and potentially a 12-5 final record (which may actually still win the division). If we lose, and especially if we do NOT look good doing so - well, that's trouble. This should be a desperation one for us, and if we can't win when we're desperate, this season is probably more of a re-set than a contending kind of year. I think we win & go on a run.

Random idea: if Tom Brady has ANY desire to coach.....would gladly pitch him the idea of being QB Coach / Offensive Assistant for Josh His mindset could put Allen over the top

Holiday Travel is Here: Dress To Be Herded Like Cattle

What does the Department of Transportation have to do with providing sterilized pajamas to first class passengers? Anyway, the airplanes are cleaned after every flight. That is the first group of people that come aboard after deplaning. Lavs are always cleaned and sprayed. They are sterilized over night. If there is an issue with cleanliness, it is put in the maintenance logbook and must be cleared before the next flight. We would never accept an airplane that had some noticeable sanitary issue. Given the oxygen cleanliness, I suggest they are much less threatening than the average upper end hotel room. Worked for me, but I admit I have absolutely no interest in some missive from some "influencer" who voices an opinion yet has not idea. -

The Bills beat the Steelers on the road in the playoffs with their backup QB on their way to the SB.., can’t be that bad -
Pats Fan, this is a Bills site, so no I don’t want to see Maye hurt, but banged up like Josh’s beating this past week is fine with me. Just banged up, not injured. I never wish injuries on any opponent. Not even TB 12 at his prime. That’s a cheap way to win and these are people. These line injuries for them will make it harder on Maye having time to see his reads. Our line last Thursday was an anomaly. They have been solid for two years. I’ll look at them vs. in a couple of weeks.

The Bills looked like the worst team in the NFL on Thursday night, and fans are reacting to that. -

what exactly are you talking about? Our record in late November - December since 2020 is outstanding is it not? -
Execute Order 66. Fire Beane, McD and Brady. Bring in a new GM and Head Coach with their own coordinators. We will always be indebted to McD for changing the culture and ending the drought. We'll be indebted to Beane for Josh and Cook. But...they're holding the team back and running it into the ground right now.

Steelers 30 Bills 13. Over by end of the 3rd. Bills know how to ruin the holidays like no other team
-
They're not doing things just to spite Josh Allen and Bills fans. McDermott and Beane want to win, of course. They believe that the place to spend resources are on QB, OL, and DL. And there is data to suggest that this is the correct approach. I don't agree, mostly because elite WRs are fun to watch and the Bills right now are a boring team that isn't winning enough to make up for it.

50-50 for me. Not more than that the way they played since day 1. 50 IN because of Josh Allen. 50 OUT because of this defensive sheme and the way Beane seems to badly wants to keep his picks. He saw the sames games...and he still didnt pay or overpay for a WR1 at the trade deadline. At this point, i dont know what to say. He is a genius i guess. So, 50-50 and this game at Pittsburgh will tell us a lot about those chances.

I went through it about a year and a half ago. It's one of the hardest things in life you end up having to do. I had a similar situation where we brought our dog in for surgery to remove a few bad teeth and remove an abscess on his gum. He took a nose dive during recovery a few days after the surgery. Turns out the abscess that the vet dismissed as a concern months earlier and again at the time of surgery as anything to worry about, was indeed cancerous. It triggered a response that fast forwarded other tumors he had internally on his liver and his kidneys shut down. He wouldn't eat, could barely walk, and couldn't make it outside. Even when we brought him back to the vet when his was struggling to eat, it was dismissed as just an older dog being tired from the stress of surgery. We brought him to the Orchard Park emergency hospital for a second opinion, got a full examination (scans and whatnot) and an overnight stay. Once we learned there was nothing we could do to help him and he would die in a few days anyways, we made the choice to do it right then. The choice to put him down wasn't that hard because we wanted to end his suffering. But I was second guessing our choices and not getting other opinions months back when we might have been able to do more for him. I was deeply depressed over it for weeks, drinking heavily, not sleeping. My other dog who was a rescue and together with him for years was at a complete loss, just pacing the house, not knowing what to do. After awhile it gets easier, but never really goes away. They are family after all. We were fortunate to have another rescue fall into our laps about two months later, which brought a lot of happiness back into the house. The other dog started acting like himself again, so we have that as a silver lining... Also switched vets to the OP clinic and have been happy with them.

Yes … I agree … he has been restructured so many years though that he is here another 12 months at least
-
When Aaron Rodgers runs for a first down on 3rd and 11 is when I will cuss.

i think 'empowering' a QB by having him avoid free rushers is akin to saying everybody eats is 'empowering' him via his WR corps...doesn't wash for me i fully admit to bias because ive been frustrated by the lack of real talent on the offensive staff for Allen's entire tenure. but i cant help but feel these guys just want to cut corners at every turn on offense and leave Allen to pick up the pieces so they can dedicate resources elsewhere

Exactly. If you only think you may have had the flu, you have not had it. A full blown flu is AWFUL. Flus kill a lot of people every year, and for a reason. -
was he wearing these in any of our first 4 games? I don't think so. Losing root cause discovered
-
I also think it's time to start planning for Dawkins replacement. Not saying it needs to be next year but his play is starting to fall off
-
The OL won’t return in full… MCGovern and Edwards are free agents and both are likely gone
-
it needs to be traded in a package for a higher caliber WR or else it's a failure
-
dumb question maybe....does anyone on our staff have experience calling offensive plays?
-
Well our 1st rounder will forever be compared to Waddle so can't wait to see how that plays out
