You should check the tax(es) on alcohol and compare it to the tax on Wonder Bread and Milk at Wegmans. If you pay extra for a concierge shoppers at either location, ask them for the downlow. I’m suggesting what you’re already doing. Beyond that, part of the argument deals with health care as a human right, and last I checked, there was not an Affordable Whiskey Boozin Alchy Act. You say you want and support X, but seem to actually favor X minus U. That’s what’s a bit ridiculous to me. Anyway. It was just an exercise, and everyone gets a seat at the table in a “Let’s Talk with Leh-nerd” sit down. Appreciate your feedback. You’re a good sport sometimes.

Ha, Ha Ha. Vance tying himself in knots... https://www.mediaite.com/politics/jd-vance-i-have-no-idea-if-trumps-epstein-letter-exists-despite-trump-calling-it-fake/ I have no idea if the book exists–WSJ won’t show it to us. I have no idea if the letter exists–WSJ won’t show it to us. What I find absurd is the idea that Donald Trump was writing poems to Epstein, and I find it equally absurd that a major American paper would attack the President of the United States without revealing the basis for the attack. We all know what’s going to happen. They’re going to dribble little details out for days or weeks in an effort to assassinate the president’s character. They won’t show us this book or allow us to refute it until they’ve wrung every bit of fake news out of the story. And everyone will just move on from the fact that the WSJ is acting like a Democrat SuperPAC. It’s disgraceful, and it’s why the president sued. I guess he forgot about the press revealing watergate.

For awhile I was using a iFi Zen Stream as a streamer/DAC and used it for streaming Tidal. Worked great for about two years and the quality of Tidal was pretty impressive. It randomly stopped working for me and was past warranty period. I realized it was pretty expensive for the higher end Tidal subscription so I ended up canceling it and not replacing the streamer. Now I just use Spotify and the Spotify connect streaming directly through my Marantz pre/pro in my media room and my Denon receiver in my living room. Definitely not as good quality, but for the cost it’s not bad. i think your Anthem might have Spotify connect too. If you haven’t tried it out yet, it’s a lot better than using airplay from your phone.

I agree with this. Names like John Brennan and James Comey are among those believed to be in the DOJ’s crosshairs. But then came the elephant in the room: Barack Obama. “If the ultimate targets are someone like a John Brennan or … James Comey or Barack Obama — who, by the way, is not going to be indicted. Anyone who thinks Barack Obama’s going to be indicted: it’s not going to happen,” Solomon admitted. Indeed, while Obama will almost certainly avoid legal consequences, the political and historical fallout could be devastating. If he’s officially named as an unindicted co-conspirator in a plot to frame his successor, and the people who carried out that plot end up in prison, his legacy won’t just take a hit; it’ll be permanently disfigured. It’s hard to claim innocence when everyone who did your bidding goes down for the crime. A scenario like that isn’t something CNN or MSNBC can memory-hole, no matter how hard they try. No, Barack Obama won’t be frog-marched out of his Martha’s Vineyard mansion. But if this investigation follows through, the myth of his “scandal-free” presidency could collapse under the weight of a conspiracy that once masqueraded as patriotism but now reeks of abuse, corruption, and cover-up. Obama may not go to jail, but history may render its own indictment. https://pjmedia.com/matt-margolis/2025/07/25/barack-obama-not-going-to-be-indicted-but-theres-good-news-n4942075

These morons should be suspended for four to six games, lose their game checks, and publicly punished in the media with Goodell warning them a further infraction will be a year suspension for players, and immediate termination for team employees. -

A lot of gesticulations and verbiage and Josh being Josh, I doubt any of those words were harsh. It’s never been his style.

I understand the NFL not wanting players making money on tickets, but for the League to suggest they are protecting the interest of the fans is laughable. The NFL is partners with resale companies the scalp and charge ridiculous fees at the expense of the Fans. -

nope. It's a service I purchase on the free market. Is it fair that some people buy expensive wines or foods at Wegmans while some go to a food bank? Of course not but then you're talking full blown socialism. Most capitalist countries have national health care programs without affecting the free market in other areas. stop being ridiculous. The health care system is already tiered: those with Medicaid or no insurance and limited doctor choices. Those with commercial insurance and more choices. And those willing to pay for concierge services who have the most choice. Do you think everyone with commercial insurance should pay even more because they're getting more choice than Medicaid patients? -

If you sold the tickets for twice their face value, you still made money. So, even though you won't be able to get tickets for the next two Super Bowls, you can go to a party instead. If that's the only consequence, I probably would have done the same until I got caught.
