Is watching the Bills fun for you these days?
BuffaloBillyG replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Honestly, I like many used to let the outcome of the Bills game play way too far into my mental well being. Weeks they lost I was a complete ass. The drought was a fun time to be around me. My "Come to Jesus" with sports came after 13 seconds. Man, I literally didn't sleep for three days. Got in a real bad mental headspace. Then slowly I would start to see things. Mainly, the players that actually played in that game in Instagram photos, out to dinner all smiles. Heading on nice tropical vacations. Not bothered at all. That helped me refocus from gameday being all about that dub, to being all about time with my wife, kids, other family and friends that are around. The game is on and I'm still invested...but it's just different now. Once the game ends, my emotional tie to that game ends. I was over last night's loss before the players even exchanged jerseys, did the joint prayer and shook hands. -

Bills host zero playoff games final season at high mark -
I understand people have different opinions. You are welcome to yours. But I am just here to tell you it's sh*t.
-
Whether it's fact or myth, for years my pick ATS on the Thursdays night game in a weekly pool keeps that thought in mind.

beane gets fired and you are the new gm

I don't think BB and Daboll look eye to eye. Also, there are extensive discussions on this board about why Daboll is not a good OC overall. -

Lost in the loss: My word Cole Bishop is easily the most improved guy on the roster. A year ago he looked like a random fan got lost on the way back to their seat and was just wandering around the secondary. This year? I have him as our best player on that side of the ball. His hustle is amazing. He either makes the play or is right there when it happens. Is he perfect? Of course not. But he looks like an entirely new player this season. -
Great perspective here. I've gotten better in general. Losses don't linger for me too much - but when we lose a night game, it still impacts my sleep that night. I kind of get upset w/ myself for that, but it's a process.

He has a trip to the super bowl. preferred by many to regular season wins.

Ok whatever you say

It’s possible just sayn’

I’m tired of blaming coordinators. They’ve blamed Daboll, Frazier, and now Brady. Time to stop the scapegoat crap and go all the way to the top: Beane and McD. But this is pegula and I know good and well we will just fire Brady. It’s Groundhog Day
-
But what? Shut your hole

This is one of many things I can't stand about Mcdermott... He has no problem calling joe brady out after games, but he NEVER steps in mid game to intervene. Just like the atlanta game when cook wasn;t used in the 4th quarter. His quote after the game: "Ya ill talk to Joe about that" He is the head coach... Instead of addressing these things mid game, he throws his coordinator under the bus after the game

This season, home teams are 9-3 on Thursday Night Football. The three away teams that won: Seattle beat Arizona by 3 49ers beat the Rams by 3 Ravens beat the Dolphins by 22. Thursday is quirky, too. Remember earlier this year watching the Burrow-less Bengals beat the Steelers. Or the Giants pasting the Eagles by 17.

It's entertainment. Hugely important entertainment to a lot of us, but still entertainment. Just because it's stressful doesn't mean it's not fun. If you aren't having fun during football season as a Bills fan, you should go bandwagon to different teams every week since no team in the NFL looks spectacular right now outside maybe the Rams. Suck it up or stop watching sports. -
Not sure why your so bent out shape bud- I just stated I wasn’t a big fan- even said he was a great players people have different opinions- I’m sure that’s hard for you though - I understand but have a great evening

A Few Thoughts about the Texans Game - Community Edition
BobbyC81 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
You know, I actually started to wonder if something like that happened. It got so bad that it looked like “Look Out” blocks when the O-line doesn’t like the QB and just lets the pass rushers thru. That one play where Dawkins hit the pass rusher once and then just stood there as the defender went back towards the LOS to sack Josh was egregious. Regarding overall line play, after the Atlanta game where their defenders were blazing and running stunts, didn’t Kromer address this in follow up practices. To me, the ship is sinking fast. There seem to be a lot of things wrong at OBD and the passive owner doesn’t help. Chuck Knox won games and division titles for the Rams though no Super Bowls, but he didn’t get 9 years to figure it out. Marty Schottenheimer won division titles with 3 teams, Cleveland, KC and SD without winning a Super Bowl and he was fired from each team without getting 9 years to figure it out. Most of the long-tenured coaches currently and in NFL History won at least one Super Bowl. Why has McD earned such a long leash? Answer me that, Terry Pegula! -
whatever you say hot shot

How many babies lives with rare neurological diseases have you saved? Quite a few less than Jim I'd guess.

Bills games have always been tough. The Miami drought years, the Superbowl years, the drought years and the Allen years. One heartache after another.

I was at the game and let me tell you what was happening downfield

I’m not bragging but, this was evident very very early on to a casual fan, I’m sure NFL coaches noticed too: -
I don't know if anyone cares anymore, but Burrow was listed as limited today while Flacco took the starting reps. Looks like his debut will be on Thanksgiving night in Baltimore. Must-see TV.

Don't think ppl are actually reading the articles. They are voiding future guarantees, in 2026. And will most likely part ways after this season.
