Your guess is as good as mine. He looked very good pre-injury. We haven’t had a chance to see him post. IDK what makes you so sure. -
Wanna buy Shaq Thompson's house?

Ah neat, thanks for the inside info. I wasnt thinking too much less than your $3M estimate, just that it would be the top end. Even so, still puts us just under a $5M initial investment. Not the $10M+ he's asking for today. Good stuff. Thanks! Agreed. @boyst would only be able to fit like 4 cows in there. -
Typical classy PPP leftist thread. Pam Bondi Cancels Speech Over Medical Issue Bondi said in her statement: "I'm sorry to miss all of my CPAC friends today. Unfortunately, I am recovering from a recently torn cornea, which is preventing me from being with you. I truly wish I was able to join you and support all of the work being done on this critical issue." https://www.newsweek.com/pam-bondi-cancels-speech-health-issue-torn-cornea-2103258

Theatre room is weak. Otherwise a gorgeous house.

I was diagnosed three years ago after having heart issues in the year following covid shots and immediately bought a cpap. It didn't work then and still doesn't work. I also have insomnia, so can't get to sleep and can't stay asleep unless I'm extremely careful. Even though I don't snore much and have never been overweight, I don't doubt the diagnosis but have always found the one-size-fits-all cpap solution to be somewhat lacking. In my case, lifestyle decisions make all the difference. Mediterranean diet. Portion control. I repeat: diet and portion control! Limit caffeine and alcohol. Exercise every day even if it's just 30 min walk on the treadmill. Lots of time outside in the sun and green areas, preferrably in the morning or afternoon. I even bought a UV-B lamp for psoriasis to use on days/weeks where it's too cold or rainy to be outside. Those things can help with vitamin b production and mitochondrial repair, or so I've read - I think it works. Basically, if cpap isn't working for you, live like a nun and the symptoms will be greatly reduced.

I mean that’s such a specific concern. Josh is an iron man. He won MVP with a broken hand. If he misses time at all, it’s a significant injury and the season is over. -
Great line, and i hope its sincere what were seeing. He's surprised me a bit with his maturity so far. RBs have got the raw end for a while now. Seems like their productive life expectancy is 4-6 years. Sucks to be locked into rookie pay scale for 4/5 years (4 for 1st rd'ers; but again we're talking RBs) and then unable to get a "real" contract. I hope when the new CBA is worked out they find a way to comp RB's better! If they cant/wont, then they should make it 3 years (+1 yr team option for 1st round: RB's only) for RB's. The Bills aren't doing Cook dirty; the CBA put them there. We cant handcuff ourselves to do the right thing, at a competitive disadvantage. Could they voluntarily have re-wrote the deal this offseason to add incentives or something? I was really turned off by his verbal crap this summer, but his actions seem to be different. I am not in the camp of giving him what I believe his market in FA will be, but i also get the crap situation he's in. I'd totally meet him in the middle on making this year more profitable for him. Give him some awesome kickers for performance

They were warned. UNEXPECTEDLY: Calif. Fast Food Companies Cut 18K Jobs After Minimum-Wage Hike. California raised the minimum wage statewide for “fast food restaurant employees” to $20 per hour last April following the passage of a ballot proposition in September the year before. Analysis of unadjusted data from the Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages, the NBER found “that employment in California’s fast food sector declined by 2.7 percent relative to employment in the fast food sector elsewhere in the United States from September 2023 through September 2024 … Our median estimate translates into a loss of 18,000 jobs in California’s fast food sector relative to the counterfactual.” The fast food sector has also cut workers’ hour and increased automation to avoid paying rising employment costs. https://www.newsmax.com/newsfront/california-fast-food-minimum-wage/2025/07/22/id/1219672/

Roby usually did homes for the panthers. They built a home for Charles Johnson on a lot I sold him when we moved out of charlotte. They charged him 250 per sq foot for his custom build. Pre Covid -

Yeah, and a $3M build price is probably high too if he got in before COVID -
They couldn’t have added on another 49 sq ft to make it an even 11k sq ft? Talk about cutting corners. No thanks!

It looks like he built it in 2020, so you won't be able to find what he paid the builders. The land was bought for $1.2M in July 2019. Zillow has the sold history and tax assessments: https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/5501-Carmel-Park-Dr-Charlotte-NC-28226/6271410_zpid/ -
I wasn’t arguing that in the least so perhaps you’re confusing me with someone else around here. Indeed, given his experience and versatility, he is valuable depth and I’ve always considered him as such. And him being a UB product is icing on the cake. You’re reading far too much into my criticism of his boneheaded play against the Vikings. Criticism which was mostly hyperbole to emphasize my post. But if it makes you feel better, I’ve never actually been pissed at ANY player for ANY poor play on the field. Mistakes happen, especially for young players and the key has always been how a player responds to that adversity. DBs, especially, need short memories and adopt a next play mentality. And I’d say Lewis has managed to do well in that regard.
