I like Knox a lot but his contract is nuts for his usage/production. Next year he has a $17 million cap hit with 7.4 million dead hit. I think he does a team-friendly extension/re-structure of his contract or is cut next year. You just can't pay a guy that much for 300 to maybe 500 yards tops in a 17-game season.

The following quote I heard him say on TV or in a video and I like it a lot: "I just want to play football and whatever happens, happens, and focusing more on the process than the results and letting go of that expectation and going out there and just playing to the best of my abilities no matter what and just being where my feet are." Some may not like it, but I think this is the right way to approach football and life. Focus on the process, not the outcome. That doesn't mean you don't prepare for your ideal outcome, but you're rooted in the moment and what you can control. I think it might help take the edge of anxiousness off some bigger moments, which, ironically, might help achieve the ultimate goal. He's about halfway through his career and I know I'll never root for another athlete like him so I'm enjoying it all I can. In a decade or so, his generational greatness could just be a memory. We are blessed to have him as a QB and person.

Apparently America is great when we threaten license holders for exercising speech. Even assuming that he has been lying, so has Fox and Trump, to far more significant degrees. Why was the ABC broadcasting license threatened, but not that of Fox? And, is it acceptable to lie on cable news (no FCC license), or in an elected position, but not on broadcast television?

I thought about this last night. The difference between this issue and a different private sector firing is that the FCC stepped in and (to my knowledge) impliedly threatened the license(s) of ABC. I don't think what Kimmel said was in great taste, although I happen to think it to be arguably true. I am appalled by the government's intervention and thumb on the scale on this issue. It is completely wrong. If that's the trigger for cancellation, then the President should have been cancelled quite awhile ago. Yeah, he found out that MAGA is into using the government to cancel people.

Oklahoma School Superintendent (AKA Facist Thug) Teacher Removal and Districts Under Investigation Regarding Charlie Kirk Oklahoma City, OK - It has been one week since the horrific political assassination of Charlie Kirk. In that time, we have seen teachers and schools across Oklahoma display vile rhetoric promoting the killing of a man who stood for free speech and debate. Over the past week, we have received a total of 224 reports through our Awareity software on defamatory comments, 30 Awareity reports on not observing a moment of silence and 3 reports on schools who refused to fly their flag at half staff. Our OSDE teams have investigated each report and identified 70 certified teachers, from 44 districts, who have made statements regarding Charlie Kirk's murder and 12 school districts who did not participate in a moment of silence. Superintendent Walters has made it clear that all teachers must abide by a set of standards written into the code of conduct. Any teacher posting defamatory and egregious comments will NOT be teaching in Oklahoma classrooms and any school that refused to participate in a moment of silence and/or lower their flags for Charlie Kirk is currently under investigation. In Oklahoma, we will continue to put students before political indoctrination agendas. MAGA “Free Speech” advocacy was all a lie.
