  1. Past hour
  2. It was too depressing to write this last night, after we got off air, so I went to bed. But, it needs to be said by more Democrats: this was not an impeachable offense, and Trump did not need congressional approval for one precision attack under the circumstances, just as Obama did not when striking Bin Laden. Why can’t our Party just say it’s great we achieved the objective and destroyed Iran’s nuclear sites, god bless the soldiers who carried this out and made it home safely, god bless our country, military, allies, and we look forward to a full intel briefing. . If one must then assert Congressional authority at the moment, add that any escalation will require congressional approval. And if you must, express concern for where this may go and what might come next. But, for so many in my Party to knee jerk with unhinged calls for impeachment - and sadly omit in their statement support for Iran not having nuclear weapons, which has been a principle of our Party for 40 years -is truly TDS.
  3. Do you have data to support the “not developable” claim?
  4. The land the federal government owns in the west is pristine and also not developable. Leave it be.
  5. Like with Iraq? Oh! Iran can make a big noise if they simply drive up oil prices and Trump has to go in deeper. Hopefully they just go quietly Stay tuned!
  6. THAT WAS DIFFERENT !
  7. I think a lot of ppl here are full of it. Easy to say that you’d turn down 500k in a hypothetical situation but if there was cash on the table, how easy would it be to close that briefcase? 500k would do it for me.
  8. It was all about Trump’s ego! sigh
  9. I’m no warmonger, but it seems firmly clear to me that Iran was viewed as an imminent threat to the safety of…the world. I say this not because bombs were dropped, but because the international community seems quite fixated on Iran not developing nuclear weapons. Yes, it was possible to sit back, wait another year, or two, or five, or to allow Iran to develop their weapons program. At the risk of repeating an earlier point, the reality is we don’t know what intelligence analysis revealed and at some point, hold your nose and trust, or hold your nose and criticize, each of which leaves us in the same place. I understand your perspective and guess we’ll have to see. Off the top of my head….Costa Rica. Argentina. Dominican Republic. Columbia. Guyana.

  11. This thread aged well.
  12. The question changes if the parameter was clarified: If you take the money the Bills don't win the Superbowl until after you die.
  13. Dion Dawkins - excellent player at a tough position, nice personality.
  14. Lance got hurt and then Purdy took them to the title game. I think if they had a poor season, Lance would have got to another shot
  15. mikie drowning in the very cesspool he came here to fix! A tale as old as PPP itself. Great work man! 😂
  16. Eyeless people cant read. They don't have eyes.
  17. Hill later added "I wish those b**ches would play the Women and Small Children defense instead, I can actually beat that" In other NFL news good teams employ schemes that win games. Ground breaking.
  18. We might be at war. If Iran just has a little face saving attack and then goes quietly then this kind of blows over. On the other hand, if Iran attacks oil tankers in the gulf, drops missiles down on one or more of our bases killing American service members, then it gets complicated. Kind of waiting for the other shoe to drop. Trump has made it clear regime change is not in the cards, so the Mullahs have nothing to worry about on that front. How do they percieve that? As a free pass to attack, or as a relief they are safe and draw back to regroup. We are in a holding pattern here... ------ 🤷‍♂️ President Trump asserted that Iran’s main nuclear enrichment facilities were “completely and totally obliterated” by American strikes. But this month, Iran claimed that it had another enrichment site “in a secure and invulnerable location,” with installation of centrifuges to begin immediately. The announcement, by the head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization, Mohammad Eslami, came on June 12 — immediately after Iran was censured by the International Atomic Energy Agency’s board of governors for failing to meet its obligations for transparency under the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty. “The new site is fully constructed and located in a secure, invulnerable location,” Mr. Eslami said. “As soon as centrifuge installation and setup are complete, enrichment will begin.” His announcement was a surprise, and so far there has been no confirmation of his claim nor any official indication of where any new site would be. Western intelligence agencies have not assessed the veracity of the claim, and there was little public reaction to his assertion from the International Atomic Energy Agency or foreign governments. The site has been under construction for several years, and Iran has not given the agency access to it. “They are telling us, ‘It’s none of your business,’” the agency’s head, Rafael M. Grossi, told reporters in April. Presumably this new site, which would have been Iran’s third, is also underground, like the Fordo and Natanz sites bombed overnight. But it is not clear whether any centrifuges have already been installed there, or even if it is as ready as Mr. Eslami said it was. David Albright, of the Institute for Science and International Security, has written that the new site is likely south of Natanz, under Kuh-e Kolang Gaz La, a mountain nearly a mile above sea level — and which is nearly a half-mile taller than Fordo mountain. The site appears to be meant for large-scale centrifuge installation, Mr. Albright said. If operational with the newest centrifuges, Mr. Albright judged that Iran could produce enough highly enriched uranium for 19 nuclear weapons within three months. Iran also announced then, as part of its response, that it would replace older centrifuges at Fordo with the most modern type, but again, it is not clear whether it had done so before the bombing. https://www.nytimes.com/live/2025/06/22/world/israel-iran-us-trump#does-iran-have-another-secret-enrichment-site-as-it-claims
