It's funny - I used to care WAY more about training camp and preseason when we sucked. I guess because that was the only time of the season when you could have any optimism lol.

There are a laundry list of head coaches who fail to put schemes around their players strengths it sounds comical, but it is a basic skill that roughly a third of NFL coaches can’t figure out. Miami was a playoff for two years in a row. Something the Bills couldn’t manage for 20 years straight. They can’t all be irredeemable garbage.

I hate this time of year… I vowed not to follow any training camp info, this year, because it’s always more depressing than not…

Not being a negative Nancy here, but there is cause for concern. The Shakir injury is most concerning, as high ankle sprains can carry on for awhile and him missing these weeks leading up to the Ravens isn't good. Then you have LB, DL, etc. and its concerning.

Yes we ran all over the cowboys and it took parsons out of the game. Their DC did not do anything to adjust to it, which was more of the problem. Not Parsons. You blame him for their lack of post season success? Where is all of that success for TJ Watt and Myles Garrett then? This post reads to me like someone who knows we arent going to get him (while I would love to have him, I dont see it happening) and not bothering to get their hopes up. Make no mistake, Parsons would instantly transform this defense to Super Bowl caliber.

Trump cannot even make it his mind which side he supports, then he should just step aside. If you want 15% tariffs across the board then do it, stfu and just fo it. Be honest, straight and not TACO. Yes there are huge international implications with GMaxwell now aside from pedos. Espionage, weapon sales, money laundering by CIA etc etc. Non of which excuses pedos.

He will never be 100% of what he was. If he can be 80% its an upgrade to our secondary. I really hope they start controlling and monitoring his reps. We need him in January and Feb more than anything.

Tre was playing well (finally) post-ACL right before he tore his Achilles. I hope he can approach being the player he used to be again, he just doesn’t get there quickly. I take nothing from last year, and I’m encouraged by the camp reports.

I love the fact Tre is getting back into form. Some are concerned, but he is taking the #2 spot while Mad Max recovers then learns. He is an upgrade on what we had going on last year. I agree with you 100% BUT Cook hasn't acted too normal this offseason. We all know he is getting bad advice and personally, just IMHO, he really doesn't want to be here, that is why he is being so hard core on the money aspect. IF he isn't going to be here, I am sick of players just walking. Trade and get something in return. I guess we will see.

The big question is whether Cook will be willing to play week one. Nothing really matters until that point. My bet is that he holds in until sometime just before the first game - unless the deal gets done before then. The only way Cook gets moved off of the roster is if he causes an issue in the locker room. We are a ways off of that being a possibility, but it could happen. Obviously they’d want to trade him if it came to that, but no team is going to trade for him if his demands remain unreasonable. Or it would be very low or conditional compensation. Here’s hoping Beane sticks to his guns. I’d like to see him state that he will not negotiate during the season. Either a deal gets done before it starts or negotiations get tabled until after the season is over. I don’t want to see this be a distraction to the team.

I have never understood this line of reasoning. Why is it better to lose in an earlier round versus getting to the Super Bowl and then losing. To me, everything else being equal, going 4 and 2 in the Super Bowl is obviously better than going 4 and 0.
