  1. Past hour
  2. This back and forth discussion is working so great. You've listened and responded to my point with great attention to detail. Productive! I don't know how I can be any clearer. But maybe I can create an X account and then post my thoughts in a tweet and then link here since you seem to pay close attention to those. Your gripes have been the same gripes but with a different flavor since the dawn of PPP. It's never going to change. It has absolutely zero to do with X posts. As I stated in my first response to you, you are more than welcome to leave if you don't like it. Or you can stay and be the change man. It will work! As to why there are only about 12 regular posters here now? Ask the 25 or so who left about five years ago to create their own board.
  3. Somebody call Skinnycaid for his take on this.
  4. Rob Johnson. Probably as gifted as Josh is but not as charismatic and far less pocket presence and inability to take a hit but I know am in the minority but feel had we drafted him instead of Todd Collins in 1999 our history may have been different.
  5. Well, to save all those millions of Americans from losing their health care, of course Oh there will be a few members forced to eat the sh it sandwich over this for sure. If it gets done at all
  6. The thing about "clutch" plays, is that they all benefit from the result. For example: If Bass connects on the FG in 2023 or the Bills score a TD and stifle the Chiefs, not only is the offense clutch for their contribution, but the defense is clutch for saving the game with the Poyer punch out. If Josh scores the go-ahead TD last year, the Bills defense looks clutch for that massive stop late to give the offense the ball back with a chance to win it. So, when you look at it from that perspective, those are two "clutch" defensive moments that ended up not being clutch because the offense didn't hold up on their end. Now of course, you play this game with 13 seconds and the opposite is true. The offense looked clutch, and the defense failed them, twice. Unfortunately, when you have knocked on the door as much as we have, there are going to be a million things we can point to. Reid having McD's number, the offense failing in clutch time, the defense failing in clutch time, the whole team not showing up to play for the 2020 AFCCG or the 2022 Bengals loss. But history is written by the victors. If the defense holds on in 2021, or the offense scores go-ahead points in 2023 and 2024 and the Bills may be the clutch "never say die" dynasty team of the era.
  7. I think the BBB passes with some face-saving tweaks, first in the Senate version, then in some House conference changes. Maybe MJT and others will have a chance to read it. "We have to pass the bill to find out what's in it." Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
  8. I think @GunnerBill and @Bill from NYC probably get their due. @Billl gets left off of a lot of lists because he doesn't know how to spell "Bill" and the whole Chiefs fan check mark against. There aren't lots of other visible Bills on the board that come to mind quickly. A quick perusal of the member list shows a lot of "Bill" related screen names with 0 posts, so the lack of recognition is on them. I find @BillsVet's insistence on pointing at me unnerving... there are too many others to go through night now without getting fired, so...
  9. "Real job" as in "not a budding politician's job." Think congressional staffer, something like that. That's all.
  10. Maybe I've developed a drinking problem this offseason but every single time I see this thread title I read it as: "Mini-Camp: A James Cook Bartender"
  11. He legit wasn't good but 10 year old me LOVEDDDD Shawn Bryson.
  12. Errrr!!! You’re not helping my case…..but, as a dutiful husband I shall apprise her of this Google thing.
  13. No. If that's a dig at AOC, well, I'd never vote for her for other reasons. But the fact that she once had a real job is a feature, not a bug.
  14. So says the guy on the internet who is a Dolphin's fan.
  15. It's the backbone of any organization.
  16. Ok I'll try but you as a moderator giving my user name, can't I just own Vague Title from now on? 🤣
  17. You absolutely do not. I've been at this as long as it's existed and worked in the TV provider industry.
  18. Most people in Italy speak English. Plus there's Google Translate that can work in a pinch.
  19. My wife’s been wanting to go Italy. Apprehensive of being a stranger in a strange land because of a language barrier, I was able to instead sway her to go to London last year. Upon getting home, actually on the plane home, she starts up with the Italy thing. I told her to learn Italian because I do not want any part of a tour group vacation and want to do and see more than the Florence, Venice, Rome package seemingly commonly offered. She’s been studying like crazy, drops hints of her progress almost daily. So…..???
