  1. Past hour
  2. i would argue it's more important for a halfback to know how to block than a wideout and we love our blocking wideouts lol
  3. For sure. While I dont agree with it, I understand people being concerned that "if you pay Cook, you wont be able to pay McGovern/Torrence". We'll be able to pay everyone. But I understand their concern with losing those players. McGovern shouldnt be going anywhere either way. Ideally, he's the only taint Josh touches for the next 10 years (unless Josh and I end up in the same bar).
  4. If you don't have an ELITE RB, don't pay north of 10m per year. Especially when you have a bunch of JAGs at WR and TE.
  5. I don’t even think Shakir’s injury is worrisome. He doesn’t need practice leading up to the Ravens game, and if he misses that one, so be it. Everyone else except Hairston is on track to be available in week one, and Hairston wasn’t going to be starting anyway. If you’re really “worried” about the injuries I have a suggestion…shut down your media outlets for the next three weeks and tune in the Wednesday before the first game, when you can read the injury report and breathe a sigh of relief.
  6. I dont want my RB to block. This is 2025. Slip him out of the backfield and make him a leveraged weapon and let Josh get him the ball in space if the heat is coming. The blocking argument does nothing for me.
  7. Let me guess your either from California, or NYC, right ?
  8. I dont understand how anyone is talking about letting McGovern out the door. He was a major turning of the tide with when our OL went from solid to pretty darn great.... and he's done it at two positions (while sliding further away from D-Dawk and learning a new'ish position. hes playing on hard mode)... is young. Edwards is whatever, he feels more replaceable (even upgradeable) in the draft. McGovern's flexibility on the field can allow you flexibility if a killer G or C falls to a spot they shouldn't be avail. Re-sign him as soon as you can cap wise.... and extend Beach-Chairs immediately!!
  9. That’s a lot of drinks for one episode Pete. I remember in my college Fraternity in the late 1980’s we would finish up with dinner and the library. Then a ton of us would get up to the TV lounge so Sunday Night Star Trek. All those that attended was required to take a drink every time the doors would open and close. Swoosh-Drink. Another scene, Swoosh-drink. Let’s just say Monday mornings were a little more slow moving. Thank god my first class was typically at 9:10am.
  10. He's barely better... Cook is a more talented pure runner Williams is more complete Williams is talented, a much better blocker and has a nose for the end zone too He's built bigger too This was literally the contract I've had in my mind for James Cook 3 years 33 million He also has been a really good goal line back for 2 years He's a much better blocker lol Williams is a stud at blocking , James Cook barely gets on the field on third down because he can't protect Josh
  11. Westy obviously has the fine features that Megyn Kelly describes, living a life of privilege and access that a simple yet pedestrian soul like me can only dream of. I thought about it. I considered my response. I prayed about it. Westy can $&”% a bag of @&$@ too. I may end up joining the libs. @The Frankish Reich is a doddering old soul in a sweater vest yammering about case law and precedent. @Trump_is_Mentally_fit has been said by someone to have a lazy eye and clearly he’s a 4 floor guy with stairs only reached the 2nd story. @Roundybout rolls about with a big old Charlie Brown head. I’m probably a 9 in that group of 2’s and 3’s. I like my odds.
  12. For those with limited perception of issues, I suppose the "they automatically agree with Israel on everything" mentality is the most comforting. You stick with it. *
  13. Cook might be more explosive, but Kyren is a year younger and a slightly better blocker. This isn't good news for the $15M/yr camp.
  14. I guess you've never heard the old adage: "When you tax [tariff] something you get less of it [imports]." Shocking.
  15. Rather have them now while they are getting in shape for the season than during the season . Hopefully they will be able to get them out of the way and when the season hits get on with it and their bodies will be topped off and ready to go .
  16. If he shows out like Mack Hollins did this could be a good get ...
  17. I agree with most of this, except the last part about the fall out. IMO, if the young guys pan out, then Ed and Dawson are gone and McGovern and Edwards get their extensions.
  18. HEY JAMES, ---- JAMES WE HAVE SOME GOOD NEWS COME QUICK !!! James; Man Beane is going to be so pissed when I show him this !!!! 🤣
  19. Good there are no drink sips for McD clapping or Bosa/Bishop/Spector working off to the side with trainers.
  20. This isn’t “hate Jewish people” this is questioning why we need to pledge unwavering loyalty to Israel. It’s really strange.
  21. No argument, but Mayfield has been a nice extension from Brady. The Bucs haven’t missed a beat since the transition, amd that with eating $33 mil in dead cap from when Brady retired. A lot worse than our Bills with the exception of the Diggs exit, yet at least in that situation we received a high draft pic for Diggs. No such event occurred with the Bucs. Wait until the end of this year. The Falcons, Panthers, nor the Panthers have any shot at taking the crown from the Bucs. For the others, I never stated it was Baker that did the five years, just the Bucs never went south after Brady left the Bucs in the lurch.
  22. Biden had all he could handle navigating flat ground and airplane stairs. Rooftops were out of the question. Someone should have had enough sense to invoke the 25th.
  23. He's fine. It was just a Friday night attempt at humor. No one bats 1000%
