  2. My best friend from high school who I used to go to Mets games with got a job that made him do like a lot of traveling...... and as a result one of his hobbies would be seeing the Mets on the road in different stadiums. He went to San Francisco in 2010ish I want to say and he told me their fans were the worst in treating him as a Mets fan in all his travels. The night he went the Mets won and they were like extra salty to him. One guy was about to get in a fight with him but my friend is 6'3" so yeah the guy thought better of it.
  3. If you want to try to guess who it could be, you can start by eliminating any first rounders not named Josh Allen.
  4. Stevie Johnson was always pretty likable- he could just come of as like really really goofy at times. I remember him saying something like Man how good I'd be if I actually picked up the playbook in the offseason. Today he seems a very solid guy in general and community based.
  5. Joe Marino was at practice today. Here's the updates he texted out to subscribers:
  6. How old is Leodis now? Do you think he finally got his GPA and learned the English language?
  7. It is, hope he heals up quickly,
  8. Setting aside for the moment, the turtleneck corollary, I'm wondering about cardigans. They're arguably vests too so if a veteran is wearing a cardigan, wouldn't he then technically be vested and therefore a free agent? AI doesn't seem to be very useful in this instance.
  9. Just got back from camp. My top 5 observations were: - Coleman had a real nice day with zero drops, going up the ladder for the easy win on a few passes, and best of all, getting some separation at the top of his routes with some burst on a few. - Bass was 3 for 7 on a series of 47 yd fg’s. Sure it was in the rain, but no bueno. I’m still confident in him after his comeback last season, for now. - Milano sniffs out run plays at a very high rate. Very good read and react moments out there has him living in the backfield - Shavers made plays all morning, and was inserted with the 1’s more than expected ( Samuel with a DNP helped). Great hands and solid routes. Felt terrible when he went down with an ankle related injury on the absolute last play of practice. - Lorax was at practice today, and looks like he could still step on to the field! He and his son were out there. He signed a boatload of autographs and made his way into the practice field and could be seen coaching up some of the defensive players. Love that guy
  10. ok , that's enough practice. Wrap up the players till opener
  11. Wondering how many here who prefer their football outdoors in the elements move their TV and recliner outside during fall/winter games? 😂
  12. Exactly. If you're putting him under general anesthesia you might as well double dip and get it over with.
  13. Allen has a howitzer for an arm but his deep ball accuracy has never been good. His strength is rocketing 20-30 yard passes into windows no one else can.
  14. A small slice of life story from me yesterday: I walked in the part of the city by the train station I will sometimes encounter homeless people looking for money. Someone asked me for a buck.... the man was in a wheelchair. I gave it him one. He says God Bless. I walk to one of my favorite diners there where the owner happened to give me extra coffee he said on the house. I thought maybe in some small way that might be karma for trying to help that man. Well maybe not so much with our favorite football team but I'm sure there's plenty of stories here people can share.....
  15. No, they are part Native American
  16. Have yourself a day Keon. Hopefully he keeps stacking great days and turns into a legit #1 WR.
  17. My car came with a sunroof that I think I've only opened fully three times in the almost 10 years I've owned it.
  18. Training camp/preseason is the time to dial this stuff in, our MVP isn't perfect but he did a great job playing within his strengths last season. I wouldn't worry about it unless it's a genuine issue in the regular season.
  19. Sucks for Shavers. He was a long shot to make the team, but was is in the hunt at #6/ST gunner. Hope its just a low ankle sprain, and 5-10 days he will be back. Shakir, Keon, Palmer, Samuel, and Moore will be the top 5 barring injury. Might give the Maryland rookie an outside shot now, with more reps.
  20. Needs better touch/more consistency on the seam ball for sure.
  21. I’m really disappointed in the deception of this thread. I was told it was going to be Cooks agent, not Ryan Howard from the office.
  22. Dam, that’s sad- 🙏🏻 for Shavers.
  23. Blah blah blah " my guy is worth being paid in The top 3 in the NFL".
  24. If you prefer an indoor environment for football and would have liked to see a roof fine, but save the terrible arguments about it being a missed economic opportunity for the region. Cat’s been out of the bag for a while how limited of an impact stadiums make. Securing a new home for the team on a budget was a rare win for local leadership in my opinion.
