  1. Past hour
  2. I remember back in high school our baseball team was going to get t shirts. A student who was very good at art asked if he could design the shirt. He made this crazy graphic muscular robot looking baseball player swinging a bat As young teens, we thought it was awesome. Our coach who was in his late 30s agreed it was incredible artwork, but he didn't really think it represented what we wanted to show on a t-shirt for a baseball team. This post link reminded me of that story. It's incredible looking but at the end of the day the entertainment is the team on the field, not the stadium.
  3. I actually thought the Jets D played pretty well. Seemed to me they had a very aggressive pass rush and very aggressive pass coverage. They got bitten a bit because of Josh's pocket presence and escapability, and because the refs actually called a few DH penalties and a RTP on them. On the other hand, they got Josh for two intentional groundings (rare) and our WR for an OPI and OH.
  4. But the reality is they have still fielded one of the worst units in the NFL for a very large % of games over the last two seasons. Which I understand is in large part do to circumstances. But at the same time, this is a rather boom or bust position. Teams build around a stud WR, they don't often pursue depth, then it's a huge rug pull when that guy goes out. WR busts don't end up like AJ Epenesa, it tends to be fairly black and white. Many aren't even in the league in short order. The post wasn't to say I agree with what we have done. Especially considering guys that we could have gotten much later like Troy Franklin and Tory Horton as flashing. It's just to say the Chiefs have done what I think most people on here (largely myself included)wanted to do and yet have fielded a total cesspool of WR's for the majority of games these last two years. I think in some ways it reflects our hesitancy to invest heavily here even if its still not something you or I agree with.
  5. A spot is going to open up
  6. You are literally going to sit here and honestly tell me that when he specifically tells his trans boyfriend he killed Kirk because he was against everything he stands for, he was a MAGA? Are you seriously telling me that you believe Jimmy Kimmel when he says this kid was MAGA? Did Charlie Kirks views align with MAGA views or not? Are you telling me this guy was more Right than Left? If you are telling me that, then there is no reason to continue this conversation. Because if you're going to be ignorant on purpose, you can't have any intellectual conversation.
  7. I’m not sure who needs to hear this but Jimmy Kimmel got on the air and falsely stated as a fact that Charlie Kirk’s killer was MAGA, smearing an entire movement and Trump in particular with a vile disgusting lie - and at a time when the threat against those on the right is at an all-time high. This was *after* we knew from the UT gov that the killer had been indoctrinated into LEFT-wing ideology, *after* we’d seen the shooter’s bullet casings reflecting furry/trans memes, calling Charlie a fascist and w/anti-fascist lyrics. It was *after* we had learned the shooter was living with his trans-furry boyfriend and believed Charlie Kirk was “full of hate.” *After* we learned that the shooter was not registered GOP, but “unaffiliated.” *After* we saw him pull the trigger just as Charlie discussed trans killers. There was zero - ZERO - evidence the shooter was MAGA, had ever been MAGA, or was influenced by MAGA in any way. This was an intentional lie to GIN UP HATRED toward the very group of ppl most suffering in the wake of our devastating loss of Charlie and Kimmel did it willfully and even gleefully to a cheering complicit audience. ANY EMPLOYER IN MEDIA WOULD SEE HOW DEPRAVED AND SICK THIS WAS. (In 2021 ABC fired Chris Harrison for saying maybe we should judge a Bachelorette contestant’s attendance (years earlier) at an antebellum party by what was considered offensive at the time. FIRED! His career never recovered!) The Left doesn’t believe ABC was genuinely horrified by Kimmel (& instead attributes this to the FCC threat). That’s bc even they know ABC has no moral core (we agree with you - it doesn’t). But what the Left doesn’t seem to understand and needs to hear is that MAGA has f&cking HAD IT. We are ANGRY. We are INCENSED watching the L smear us, our ppl, literally getting some of our friends killed (not to mention our president shot and nearly assassinated again weeks later) and then LYING about it. (“Trump faked his injury! He wasn’t actually shot!” “We have no idea what the motives ever are … if they are bad for our side!”) I have zero doubt ABC was overwhelmed with absolutely furious calls/comments/emails from truly-FED UP viewers, and knew it had crossed a deadly serious line. In short, GOOD RIDDANCE.
  8. Looks to me that the Bills have received more bang of their draft $ with 2 starters. KC has 2 starters as well and maybe Royals will develop into one, but Rice will be gone by that time.
  9. JD, I don’t think that he is going to understand sarcasm
  10. You win through the trenches.
  11. Why not just stuff him into the back of a black Mercedes S-class and haul him to Siberia? Thats the logical end goal of this.
  12. There is a website where MAGAs are attempting to get people fired because they’re not mourning sufficiently. That’s insane.
  13. You wrote all that based on...one game, against one of the strongest offensive units in the entire NFL? The Bills D was 11th in the league on PA last season, 17th on yards. By the standards of McDermott's tenure as HC, it's "not up to our standard" as McDermott would say, but factually, that's not "poor", it's middle-of-the-pack What I saw last season was that the D suffered when multiple starters were out and we played a good team.
  14. I think my issue is this. The Chiefs needed WRs. They drafted high. They did do well with Rice as long as he stops getting himself suspended. Worthy hasn't been around long enough to judge fairly. But they don't stop there. They go out and sign former 1000 yard receivers in Brown, Ju-Ju and last year DHop. They just keep grinding at the position when they miss. Meanwhile, for us the position we do that with is the DL. We invest high picks and then turn around and have to sign pricey FAs. The PED guys, Bosa, Von. We just grind away on DL.
  15. Sounds like your having a blast! Let's hear a quick little summary of how today went and all the spots you got to check out....
  16. They certainly seem to be moving in a more moderate direction, don’t you think? The historically low approval numbers should start coming up any time now. 🤦🏻🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♂️
  17. None of these fantasy claims are rooted in reality. No one is treating him as a saint or pope You are just frustrated with the way things are proceeding. The regulars on the board recognize when you start your tantrums .
  18. I’ve been saying this since September 10 and I think B-Man had the same thought. There is no going back. The left has no clue what has happened here and the ramifications. It is being UNDERSTATED how bad this is. And it’s ALL on them. Because they’re the only ones that can stop it. Which they won’t do. It will end their party.
  19. Physics might have a thing or two to say about some of them as well.
