  2. Alex Highsmith, like his play and would welcome him as an addition. Peyton Wilson too if he were available to replace Milano or Shaq.
  3. Think that’s a reasonable outcome and not a bad one where we slot. Do flip Denver and New England for me personally. The Broncos have played some hit or miss football and have been escaping losses. Their remaining schedule isn’t as easy as the Pats.
  4. Relatively decent for them. Guy has shown a propensity to produce for them, does seem t be having a down year. Whether that’s solely Lamar or not, who knows.
  5. Per the NYT’s playoff simulator, the Bengals have a 76% chance of making the playoffs if we win our remaining 5 games. It’s unlikely we can make it as a wild card, seeing that multiple teams would need to implode weeks 13-18. Therefore, our best bet of making the playoffs is for us to win the AFC North 76% means probably and is not undue optimism. It’s based on data. It’s fine if you don’t believe it or want to actually understand the scenario. Go to the simulators and you will see if you want, or just pontificate…whatever you want to do. My whole point is that you going to get a big effort from the bengals because they will feel they are still alive and the division is in play.
  6. It'll depend on the details, the guarantee, how much is backloaded or front loaded, etc. I think it'll work out well for them. I hadn't realized he's only 30.
  7. Today
  8. Yeah, I think a lot of Bernard's bad play comes down to him being dinged up and to DL problems when the injuries get bad. Still think Shaq should play right now, though.
  9. Geez!! Interesting! I like the bracket you came up with. KC could beat New England, and we'd get the home game, and Los Angeles probably will beat Jax, another home game if we played them. I don't mind this at all. Though it'd be a ton better if we won the division, of course. I wouldn't like playing Cincy away, but if we lose the division it's not that bad out of all the other possible results. And - admitting that it's still way early to try this exercise - I don't think I'd have many differences.
  10. He's still a good player but not a great player anymore. If we could get him on a discount I'd be okay with it Anderson could be a special olineman for us
  11. Me too. Wait. What?
  12. Maybe knows a bit about our defensive playbook from having seen us on Sunday. Won't know much about our offensive playbook though, except for two plays.
  13. don't forget TJ Graham and Rob Johnson
  14. People can get hit by cars when crossing the road. Doesn’t mean it’s likely people will get hit by a car crossing the road. I just took a random list from NFL.com. Two of Twenty five players have never played in the championship. Most have not only played but won and multiple times. Allen would get added to the list as he will certainly be on it one day if McD and lil Baller keep it up. Citing anomalies as evidence and hand picking players to do so isn’t evidence. https://www.nfl.com/news/top-25-quarterbacks-of-all-time-patriots-tom-brady-leads-list-0ap3000001035041
  15. He hasn't got worse but Seattle always knew what they had - the ultimate one trick pony. Pittsburgh have tried to use him in more diverse ways and he can't do it. He can run downfield in straight lines very quickly. That's it. However that is the thing the Bills can't do and need....
  16. Watson is washed. At best they might surprise someone for a bit running a different type of offense or something.
  17. Using dumb ESPN's playoff simulator, I ran through the last five weeks of the season without thinking too much, just picking each game as objectively as I could. Here was the result (only took me a couple minutes): I hate it a lot, tbh. So many bad matchups for the Bills. In my simulation, for what it's worth, the Bills lose the next two and then win the last three. I really hope that isn't what actually transpires, but going 3-2 the rest of the way IS reasonable. Could also see arguments for going 4-1, which would have interesting ramifications. for the rest of the AFC. What bracket do YOU come up with after picking the last five weeks of the season? (I tried not to think about any future implications when picking. And I tried to apply an ugly level of objectivity.)
  18. The Eagles put in a claim for him also. The Bills won out due to their lower standing.
  19. So no one (especially the OP) has worked out even one simulation of how the AFC bracket would progress for Buffalo's "playoff run" beginning with a road win against the Ravens? What are the other 2 matchups during the WC round? Any other road warrior upsets? (Which would mean Buffalo does NOT travel to the top seed for Divisional round.) Could all three WC teams win on the road, given the leaguewide parity? (Which would mean Buffalo hosts #6 AND THEN either travels to #1 or hosts #7 for the AFCCG.) How does the AFC seeding shake out after week 18?
  20. This was inevitable and predictable. What's hilarious is that the Browns, possibly more than any franchise aside from the Jets, can't get the QB position right and now they have the two most divisive, controversial QBs in the NFL on the same roster. You can't make this stuff up.
