  1. Past hour
  2. Trubisky. This is not as close as some think.
  3. Yeah, Steve ISN’T glib. Struggles mightily to be quick and to the point. Seems he doesn’t prepare well with goto responses. But I love him. He gets a pass I wouldn’t give most reporters.
  4. Fair, but also fair that it is my single biggest concern going into 2025 about the entire team. It was woeful last year. I would imagine it has been a point of emphasis the entire off season. And yet they were really disappointing yesterday. It isn't just scheme either. It is basics. Tackling, spacing, synchronisation of rush and coverage. Those things don't need creative scheming and when you get more creative scheme wise you better have those fundamentals down pat.
  5. Not for the first time this week I disagree with Joe. He lost rush discipline multiple times. I do good night / bad night after every pre season game win or lose and have done for multiple years. These games are about what you learn and I try and hone in on what the Bills will have learned and how much it all matters.
  6. Yeah, I watched the game. I seen the Sanders and Walker wins. This wasn't Tom Brady getting the ball out sub-2.0 lol It was Jaxson Dart, Tommy DeVito, and Jameis Winston for most of the game. Again, if Dart, DeVito, and Winston drop back 44 times and you can't sack them there's a problem.
  7. No question that if they were to go Allen's entire career without a Superbowl appearance that would be the bigger failure. It should be inconceivable but here we are.
  8. His get off was definitely impressive. Had a nice bull rush that moved the qb from his spot but he missed the tackle and iirc the qb ran for a first. He showed flashes but didn’t finish.
  9. Today
  10. This thread will end well. I voted for the four consecutive Super Bowl losses. So let me now throw some gas on this soon-to-be garbage bin fire.... I noticed you did NOT use the word "led" to describe our current team which is truly "led" by a great leader in Josh Allen. Josh Allen is a leader of men. No team led by Josh Allen would ever be nicknamed The Bickering Bills. His teammates all would run through a wall for Josh Allen. Why? Josh is humble to the core of his being. Josh is not boastful. Josh Allen wanted to come to Buffalo. Josh Allen lives clean. Here comes the gas... It may be just me however doing blow and visiting discos/bars with your teammates on the week leading up to playing a Super Bowl game is NOT the leadership a NFL QB should exhibit. I sympathize with his medical condition however he is one crappy human being.
  11. Dawkins was abused by Carter. He earned an “arrow down” There’s also been a couple weeks of training camp where he hasn’t shown much of anything.
  12. Tre White is not good anymore, despite what people are saying. Max needs to get healthy
  13. you think they'll get better?
  14. Josh Allen turns 30 in May. With the way he plays, it’s possible that he only has three “prime” seasons left. Beane continues to whiff on the first two rounds in the draft. For years, he has poured money and resources into a defensive line that is among the league’s worst, and he has yet to add any true elite, gamebreaking talent to the roster. McDermott is supposed to be a “defensive genius”. However, the defense was historically bad last season. His defenses have failed over and over again in “big boy” games. Unless Uncle Terry makes a change, these two are going to have been gifted the entire career of arguably the most talented QB to ever take an NFL snap — with zero Super Bowl appearances to show for it. Would that be a bigger failure than four straight Super Bowl losses?
  15. White was really not that bad. He overplayed the cushion on that one route to Robinson but the other completions on him were exactly the kind of keep it in front of you and tackle corner play this scheme demands. I think the reaction to that one play is overboard. Douglas was toast last year. I am confident we are better now.
  16. Superman turns 30 in May. McDermott and Beane have 3 seasons or so left with this kid in his prime.
  17. Really encouraging on Chase. Just because of how I was watching yesterday I didn't get the chance to really focus in on the OL. That needs my 100% concentration, but I have heard a few folks say he played well. I really struggle to imagine the Bills cutting him loose.
  18. Maybe I’m naive, but it feels odd to me to complain about 3rd down defense when there is no scheming going on. They are literally just playing a base defense to watch what guys do.
  19. I suspect that Chris Tabor is going to have a fair amount of influence on the bottom end of this roster. And with the new kickoff rules, that might include getting to choose who he wants as P/KR. Judging by today's performances only, Shanault really looked like the best option, so far. Regarding the #3 TE competition, it really didn't look like either Davidson, or Hawes had a particularly good showing as tight ends. But Davidson did have at least one good play on special teams. I wouldn't put Hawes ahead of him just yet. I would also put Hancock down for having a decent rookie showing for his first game.
  20. Get the ketchup and mustard bowling balls!!!!
  21. Agree. Think he’s a low end starter for a few teams in this league.
  22. My grandfather collected model trains from when he was stationed in Germany during WW2. Marklin’s were his go to. Had 100+ and quite a few Krauss’s. Hope the collection serves you well and lots of enjoyment!
  23. I don't see the logic in going backwards...
  24. Has a coach ever been fired between the first and second preseason games? This could be a first.
  25. Massive character flaws going into that process? Sure. I can see that. Whether it was resentment from the league on his fathers statements or specifically the attitude, capability or reliability he did or did not express who knows. What I can say is after watching him grade his performance moderately low and repeated statements about being there for change, playing for his teammates on top of a thankfulness for an opportunity speaks volumes to some humility he has whether shown previously or not. It’s there and was on display post game. Not the biggest fan of the style he’s inherited from his father but I can’t fault it. He’s a young kid growing up in the shadow and expectations of Deion. Wish nothing but the best for each and every person living their dream or the monotonous 9-5 grind. Shadeur Sanders included.
