Plausible X/#1 receiver trade candidates — are there any?
Sojourner replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
So are Olave and Brown even uo for trade after today’s showings? 😕 -
yes, i’m sure goodell is willing to risk sports bribery indictments, wire-fraud charges, conspiracy counts, racketeering investigations and class-action lawsuits from every fan, gambler, and broadcast partner in america, all so that the league’s 32 billioniare owners can secretly agree to tilt a few holding calls in favor of the kansas city chiefs, so they can go to an afc title game or beyond for an eighth straight time. sounds totally plausible. maybe eventually they'll get really creative and make the Jets, Giants or Cowboys relevant for the first time in a decade too.

Pats are no joke. Very good coaching staff & now a franchise qb. They’re only getting stronger.

Only if they can re-sign him after the season. -

T.O. is still working out -
There isn't a defensive player in the league worth what they gave up for him when you consider draft picks +money
-
The Colts would crush us right now. The Patriots have Drake Maye, who is playing better than Allen, a much better receiving unit and a better defense. The Chiefs are most definitely back. The rest I will concede but when you look at the Bills and see their struggles all year….The Bills are a lot closer to mediocrity than they are being a good team. I guess we’ll see.

If they were playing on the Meadowlands turf that would have been a season ending injury for Dart. -
We will win the division again this year and they’ll have issues as old talent and bad talent show itself. It’s a long year. Also, the book will get out them and let’s see if this guy can even pivot once last alone survive in the league for 15 years.

For sure. Theyre an impressive team, Steichen doing a great job there! Whats going on with the Broncos today? Jet lag? -
I wouldn’t be too quick to pi$$ on the Browns. They need to figure out the qb situation. in the mean time McD and BB cant figure out how to surround JA with what he needs. So far it’s been wash rinse repeat season to season.

Pickens with another insane catch. Dallas stole him for a 3rd round pick. -

Pickens looks good. What did the Cowboys give up for him? -

Will the Packers start regretting the Parson trade? Cant help but root for Jaxson Dart and Skattebo. Enjoy watching these two rookies. Pickens is a stud. Already known though. -
I look at the other side of the coin. For years Beane has been focused on his white whale of beating the Chiefs come playoff time. Maybe added pressure from within the division will force him to change his stance and actually go out and find legitimate weapons. If it can alter his perception of what we need, it may help in the long run

This. Also, I think it would be different if Maye was doing this on the Jets or Dolphins. Many people (not necessarily here) would be saying it's a hot streak and not freaking out. After all, both of those teams have a history of ineptitude. It would be easier to ignore. Because it's the Patriots, and Brady only left six years ago, people automatically assume they will just dominate again like with Brady. And go back to winning SB's most years.

When the momentum is against the Colts, it doesn't take them long at all to take it right back. -

I don't understand why he has Greg Roman as his OC. -
Would you trade the Bills roster (except Josh Allen) for Ohio State's.
Wiz replied to Wiz's topic in The Stadium Wall
They're projected to have 5-6 first round picks in 2026 and at least another 5-6 on the roster. So, what would you give up for a dozen first rounders and numerous second and third round pix to build from scratch away from our aging, injury prone team with no impact players on either side of the ball except J. Cook and Oliver. Our defense gives up 5.6 YPC! Jim Brown, the GOAT, only averaged 5.2! 😂 -

Hollins is a medicore journeyman, Diggs is an older injury prone mercurial head case. Very very unlikely.
