Start of the season really could not have gone better for the Bills…
billsfan89 replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's why I said better picture not a complete picture. The season evolves a lot. And yes KC with the veteran team and staff will evolve better than most. I think more so if the Chiefs can beat the Ravens next week they will not only put themselves in much less of a hole so to speak record wise but they will also showcase their talent likely isn't as depleted as they could. -

The League's Top Ten Coaches All Ought to be Fired
hondo in seattle replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's always hard to be critical of the reigning Super Bowl champ. I did the best I could. But someday the Sirianni honeymoon will end. The list of coaches who got fired AFTER winning Super Bowls includes Tom Landry, Jon Gruden, Doug Peterson, Mike Shanahan, and Pete Carroll. It wouldn't surprise me if Sirianni joined this list someday. They don't call it the Not For Long league for nothin'. In any case, I'm not in fact advocating that any of these coaches be fired. That's kind of how satire works. Without being too specific, I generally believe that if you have a winning coach, you keep him. Yet virtually all the coaches on this list have hometown fans who want their heads. -

This actually did happen. Thank you for the reminder! I suspect it is on Peterman's resume: "Won NFL starting QB job in a 3-way competition with former BCS Championship QB AJ McCarron and future NFL MVP Josh Allen." [Yeah, I know there were other reasons, but still ... it is true] -
Bills Defense, will it get better as season goes on
billsfan714 replied to North Buffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall
Exactly where Im at. We're a SB offense with a middle of the pack defense that will struggle in the playoffs to hold the elite teams to under 30. -
I just saw the headline on Yahoo. It said DE Nick Bosa I was like who's DENick Bosa? Another Bosa brother? 😂

2021 season was my tipping point to getting Firestick.... my SundayTicket was jacked up literally 3 weeks in a row. Had to head over to Pirate streams, which froze and needed a refresh every 15mins or so (I'm out of market)..... im d***'ing around with this crap paying $500. I call them each week, they say "Sorry *insert SouthPark face*. We'll credit you one week" 3 weeks in a row. Refund? I dont want to miss the games to save $$ LOL unacceptable Had a buddy who pays for service through Firestick, like $25-30/mth for 3 devices..... I'm in year 5, and I have had exactly 0 issues. Sorry ya'll are dealing with that, but actually sorry, not like the one these companies give you

Bills Defense, will it get better as season goes on

The Bills defense ranked 17th last year. In order for it to be "significant" improvement I would say that it would probably need to be pushing top 10 defense to hit that criteria. I don't think going from 17th to 14th is really that significant. I think you would have to hit 12-10 for it to be really considered significant improvement. I think that's likely going to happen for this defense. I think they will finish just inside or outside the top 10. -
Roundy: “Hunter Biden may have been the most qualified child of any American president ever to serve as a Ukrainian energy consultant and his Dad finding the one corrupt guy in Ukraine who just happened to be investigating the company actually shows just how qualified he was! Oh and he only got pardoned for tax evasion charges because he forgot to mail the envelope—it fell behind the crack pipe display at his hooker’s house!” And if it does, you have to worry about nefarious intent and AI graphics. No, Frank, best to trust Pam Bondi and Kash P.

I disagree. No one knows what KC will be until the 2nd half of the season. Rice and Worthy are still out. There are rookies or 2nd guys playing on defense. The left side of their oline is anchored by a rookie and a 2nd year player. If all these guys get better with experience KC will be a completely different team by November. -

Fair concerns - and honestly health is going to be a key issue and something that has been a real significant issue in all 3 of our last losses to KC. Not having Tre in the 13 second game was massive. 2 years ago stuck with the Ghost of Von Miller coming back from an ACL tear and having no LB's and starting guys recently off their couch was a major issue that game as KC just attacked the LB spot all game long with ease. Last year, Elam having to come into the game was immediately exploited and played a major role in our loss. I don't know if they have the ability to be a top defense, but the question is more will this unit improve. And I think guys like TJ and Walker likely get better as the season progresses just getting more experience, and Walker is already showing the ability to make some impact plays. But even just based on getting back Oliver, Milano, Hairston and our 2 guys on suspension (especially Hoecht) we should see this unit improve. Keeping them healthy and on the field though is going to be key come the post season. There is one thing that I am concerned about though, is we may not really know what this defense can or can't be (even if healthy) until that pivotal game in the postseason. There are not a lot of "big" tests on our regular season schedule. KC and TB are the ones that stand out, and KC isn't the same offensive team in the regular season and probably taking a step back this year, and TB while very good isn't as dangerous or explosive as the Ravens offense we faced. We do play the Eagles late, but we might legit have the 1 seed already locked up by then. So we run the risk of getting a bit of fools gold syndrome through a somewhat cushy schedule and not truly see this defense really tested until that game we need them to handle their business. -
Nick Bosa is reportedly out of the rest of the season with a torn ACL

When I see things that don't make sense - like "why did Kristi Noem leapfrog Tom Homan to become DHS Secretary" - I keep that question in the back of my mind. And sometimes the answer becomes all too clear in due time ... Yes, there is a ton of corruption in DC, including the never-ending game of musical chairs: government official --> lobbyist --> government official. But this one sounds like a particularly ham-handed scheme. The video is either out there or it's not, and if it is out there, it's gonna surface.

FireChans replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
There is legitimately 0 objective reason to fire Sirianni right now, the defending SB championship HC, whose team hasn't lost a game his QB has started and finished since 9/29/24. Confirmation bias is a b*tch indeed. -
Their offense woke up in the 2nd quarter against the Pats. They should be able to outscore the Jets.

I have to be candid, Frankish. I’d think cash to contractors, donations to politicians, bid-rigging, insider trading, influence peddling, pay for play is quite routine and an acceptable way of life in DC. As for TH, investigation opened and closed. As Megyn Kelly said….we don’t trust “you”. As evidenced by your reply, you’re distrustful of the system as well.

Are there issues that you think democrats are strong on? You declared that the last presidential election was about abortion. You could not have been more wrong obviously. I don’t know if I can trust your answer on the question that I’ve asked, but what do you think?
