  1. Past hour
  2. If we aren't an apologist can we still vote? Also, is Brandon Beane still picking the players throughout all of McD's time in this hypothetical or is he replaced by someone better? Is McD fired while Josh is still playing? & Does Josh go on and win a SB w/o him? Just want to flesh this scenario out.
  3. For as well as we played, I think this game was way more about Pitt looking like trash.
  4. Was at the Browns game yesterday. It was a real pleasure watching Garrett vs Trent Williams. Two future first round HOF’ers. For an older LT, Williams held his own against the best pass rusher in the NFL.
  5. Nah. They won 9 games in a row. I respect it but there's no way this NE team will win all the games they are supposed to win. I think the Giants have a good shot for the upset tonight. I'll bet on them +7.5. They've lost some heartbreakers at the end of games and kind of due for something to go well.
  6. They could, i’m not sure it gets first anymore but it would go a long ways towards a Super Bowl.
  7. And there you go. You make the best argument against yourself. We're so far into Allen's career and have nothing to show for it, except now a possibly declining Allen. What do you have to lose? NOT making the SB again? Fear isnt a good reason to not try to improve. And I believe the "its a big risk, it could be worse" argument has been thoroughly refuted. Most recently in the "Ben Johnson?!?" thread.
  8. Nor I... now we just need a Reed to go with our Thurman and Kelly... and a Bruce on the other side.
  9. I think the Bills need to do a LB rotation when Bernard gets back. Milano much like Po and Tre seems to still be a capable players when they don't play hefty snap counts (although Po has been playing more and more despite initially giving Handcock some snaps). Milano played 80% of the days snaps but the Bills only had about 43 total defensive snaps so his total count of 35 was more in line with a guy playing 65-70% of snaps in a more snap heavy game. Bernard, Shaq, Milano, and Williams should all split snaps at LB to keep each other healthy.
  10. Myles Garrett. If he stays healthy, he would be the one to catch Bruce for the all-time sacks leader.
  11. I am not sure anyone is a “McD Apologist” per se. Those of us that support him are worried about blowing things up and making it worse by inevitably bringing in new systems and schemes and someone who is undoubtedly going to be way less experienced. It’s a lot of risk. Would be different if we weren’t so far into Allen’s career.
  12. Also… Allen set the rushing touchdown record in 123 games; Newton established the previous record in 145 games. When you think of rushing QBs people always mention Lamar, but he only has 34 career rush TDs. Lamar has a couple thousand more rush yards, but I’d rather have the TDs. Josh is such a unicorn. We will never see another player like him.
  13. Nice to see things are back to normal. Those post win happy threads get monotonous.
  14. Myles Garrett and it isnt even close. He is at a completely different level than practically everyone else.
  15. He looks a whole lot better than he did early... not sure we dont need to upgrade... but at least he isnt a rented mule...
  16. I'd be happy with just 1. That isnt the question. Yet, that's the response we get in many threads from Sean supporters. I agree their argument is flawed.
  17. Yes. All of the games are outside, potentially in bad weather. I think the Bills are the best bad weather team in the AFC. Three of the games are at home. The road games aren't far.
  18. Aaron Rodger’s, Favre, Russell Wilson, Steve Young, Drew Brees, Kurt Warner, Johnny U all only have 1. Marino, Kelly, Tarkenton, Fouts, Moon, Cunningham have zero. People think Brady and Mahomes are the norm and they aren’t. It’s extremely tough to win a SB even when you have all the pieces in place, it still requires a lot of luck. I fault McDermott for 13 seconds, but it was not a given that they would’ve won it all.
  19. Every single team in the league can win out. The question is will they and the answer is no.
  20. 44 against Tampa at home. They can match that against the Bagles, unless they go -3 in turnovers.
  21. The Steelers O looked awful with Rogers and without him.. as for this alleged action even if Allen didn’t it (not saying he did) nothing would happen hard tell intent ona quick play
  22. It wasn't all Cook, either - Davis and Johnson also had success when called upon. The Steelers just couldn't get to the runner all day. Kudos to the Bills O line for executing, but the Stillers D should have had an answer at some point. Instead, they laid an egg.
  23. As much as a bunch of people despise aspects of Brady’s offense (me included), it is built to win in cold weather, bad weather. Just so happens that each of the last five games will potentially be bad and/or cold weather games. I doubt that the run the table but, yeah it’s possible.
  24. Flawed argument begins with "Terry and many folks here seem to be happy sitting on a nice Regular Season win/loss record, and some AFC East Championships"
