  1. Past hour
  2. Samuel, Moore and Palmer were all meh pickups when we signed them and nothing has changed that. I'd rather have Amari Cooper, he didn't do much at all but he at least had hands and would make at least 1 phenomonal catch every other game, those 3 do absolutely nothing for me.
  3. Everybody knows that but were the Bills defenders actually told to drop back ten yards and just stand there? Is that really what the coaches said to them? You have to admit that it looked very odd.
  4. Our DL never had a chance because opposing QBs get the ball out very quickly, usually to a receiver without a defender within 5 yards of him.
  5. $#@! Show across the board other than the handful of positives you listed.
  6. Why would they make the weakest position group on the team weaker on August 18th? I still wish we signed Andre Cisco but it doesn’t matter now.
  7. I dont see Moore or Samuel making the roster. This is two offseasons where Beane's WR additions aren't looking good. Both
  8. Agree, people thinking we have 75 nfl starters on the roster got a reality check
  9. Yep. And bring back Doug Whaley or Buddy Nix and cut his a**
  10. Didn’t McD actually LOSE his challenge?
  11. I remember vividly last year the bills with and without their starters could not run the ball on the bears and the usual suspects were freaking out the next day. there was a lot of the bills can’t run the ball and they shouldn’t be running it because it doesn’t lead to scoring and ultimately winning. As the man said it’s Deja vu all over again.
  12. And Shavers was wide open for a TD that White overthrew also. I think he’s making the team; he just gets open, and he’s a ST contributor.
  13. We were told by McDermott he needed to make a chnge, yet here we are.
  14. Cole Bishop Landon Jackson these two are are just absolute waste of picks that continue the trend of big misses in the draft. Safety will be the reason they miss the SB AGAIN
  15. At a team level I totally agree. The individual evaluations do matter though.
  16. Last year, the Bears crushed the Bills in preseason. The Bears ended up firing their coach and sucked. The Bills won the division, Allen got MVP, and they lost to the Chiefs in the playoffs again. Last night says nothing.
  17. The system is designed to make opponents go 10-12 plays to get it down and score. And somewhere in there, the thinking is we get a fumble, INT, sack, etc..to stop the drive. The Bills D does a pretty good job on first and second down but they've been horrible on 3rd downs (as we all know). That has to change,
  18. People read more into one or two preseason plays than is necessary.
  19. I refuse to judge Elijah Moore in a game where your 3rd QB and backup O-Line are playing the majority of the game. Also, I don't think Moore and Shavers are competing for the same roster spot. If Shavers makes the team, he's likely the 6th WR, or they cut Samuel... but I think carrying 6 WR is more likely even though they haven't typically done that.
  20. Look how invested we were to get the Forrest kid and how he was going to be a game changer to rejuvenate our DB. I am disappointed the guy has not climbed the charts but I never saw him starting. Not with McDermott. He runs with what he brung. He trusts what he knows. Hamlin he knows. He knows he can cover the shortcomings with Hamlin but we cannot with Bishop yet. We do not know enough about him; that's why Hamlin starts.
  21. Safety is far and away the worst position group on the roster. They have to fix it, quick. It’s a disaster.
  22. Lundt was okay. Not as good as last week, had a couple of shaky pass pro reps when inside at LG - one of which led to sack of Mike White (but after he held the ball for freaking ever). Interesting that they looked at Lundt at guard. He was there with the "starting" unit then stayed out there and played RT with the second line through. Hancock had a couple of nice reps and a couple of really poor ones. Which is sorta par for the course right now for a 5th round rook.
  23. Hamlin was a popular whipping boy last year but he truthfully wasn’t that bad. He was an average middle of the road NFL player. The type that every team has starting somewhere bc of the salary cap. but - Bishop and Hamlin don’t even play the same position, Rapp is the starter and Bishop is his backup. If Bishop was any good, Rapp would slid over and take Hamlins spot. These last two drafts are looking like total failures.
  24. I could see him getting cut and someone like Hamler in his place. On another note, people sleep on how Josh lifts up everyone on offense. In preseason we are watching Elijah Moore with horrendous Mike White and subpar Trubisky. All these receivers will look better when Allen is throwing them the football.
