They obviously are on my side, given that the protests and pushback against ICE is intensifying. Every single protest like this is sparked by the violation of human rights by authority, in this case ICE and the MAGA government. Do you know why we on the left own academia? Because the right hates it. The right hates education, arts, sciences, and so forth, because it constantly challenges the status quo. You can’t handle it. That’s why MAGA hates universities so much. Conservative academics are relegated to stupid libertarian think tanks or Prager U. This is what’s so amusing about the people supposedly for “small government” - they’ll happily put the boots on if they agree with it.

Democratic Socialists of America: 501c4 non-profit They are bundling the funding for the above 5 groups using dark money projects and NGOs (taxpayer funding) And pay very close attention to Democratic Socialists of America and the Chinese Communist Party, as usual, follow the money!

I agree about overpaying Cook, but I don’t love the way this situation has played out. We made the choice to move to a scheme that was more run heavy. Cook produced, and now we don’t want to pay him that amount. I think it would be a huge overpay, but the run heavy scheme would need to be thrown out without Cook. Additionally, this run heavy scheme means nothing if we can’t gain one yard on multiple occasions in a title game. Unfortunately, most fans prefer to blame Kincaid. We’re possibly in the Super Bowl if we knew how to pick up one yard.

The Cook situation is an interesting one. Josh excluded, he’s clearly the best playmaker on the offense. He’s been really good in big games. He is a big play waiting to happen and a quality receiver. He’s young and has low mileage. I looked at it either before or after this season (think it was after) and he only has 70 more touches than Ray Davis through college & the NFL!! Cook is still ascending. The flip side is he’s a RB. He can’t pass block limiting his snaps. RBs are found all the time. It’s the one position that you can throw a body at and it’ll work. The Bills have 2 other capable options on the roster already. Are these options as good as Cook? No; they certainly aren’t. Is Cook at $12.5M (where I think it will be) a better option than the current stable plus a draft pick (or JK Dobbins if Cook actually holds out this year)? That is the question.

I don't see the case here for federalizing the guard. Not yet at least. Other law enforcement (border patrol) have been deployed, and nearly all of the dangerous stuff was in that weird little municipality of Paramount, which I'd never even heard of before this. This should be considered an extreme step reserved for truly extreme situations.

I am from Buffalo, but I live in Atlanta now. But I will tell ya, the older I get, the more I miss it. I really enjoyed growing up in Buffalo, and I really think my kids would have loved it too. That said, now that I know I can buy it standalone, I will gladly pay the extra $100. I never miss a game.
