  2. I think I found someone who doesn't really mind being called a commie. https://www.themoscowtimes.com/2025/04/30/putin-renames-volgograd-airport-stalingrad-to-honor-wwii-battle-a88920 And the put up a new statue of Stalin. Communist nostalgia! The real kind.
  3. 2nd and 9 is worse than 13 seconds because the strategy they concocted during the timeout was inherently flawed. They had nearly executed a SB XXV level game of keep-away and lost their minds in the clutch. All the debate about kicking the ball short or into the end zone on 13 seconds only matters because they didn't execute in the final 13 seconds. 1 adequately defended defensive play and the game is over. The attempted longshot to Shakir after the two minute warning was damned if it worked AND if it didn't. Ultimately, we just aren't allowed to talk about failures that Josh Allen could be considered at all accountable for. The media and fans alike are terrified to be critical of him. And for multiple reasons. They don't want him to want to leave. And we've seen choking become habitual with the Kelly era Bills so we don't want to fracture his confidence. The truth is we feel that he is more important to the organization/community than any SB win he could generate. He's bigger than the brand. I can't really think of a similar situation in sports. Maybe Giannis with the Bucks? I don't know. The problem with being that way is you can't get to the truth if you omit what you wish you hadn't seen. My contention is that the lack of playmakers in the passing game has set him up for failure. He's personally thrown away his share of games with bad decisions late over his career. If he has Travis Kelce putting up 100 yards per game in the playoffs every year maybe he still doesn't win them all or even 3 of 5 like Mahomes. But we may never know what it would look like for him to have a guy who makes a difference playing with Allen in the playoffs.
  4. Tranlation: Less (sic; should be fewer; I blame declining standards at Princeton, letting in mediocre white jocks) Generals = fewer high-level people to tell Trump he can't/shouldn't do stupid things.
  5. This thread took a bizarre turn. I kind of like it.
  6. What a surprise. The Alien Enemies Act declaration was based on total bs, contradicted by Trump's own administration. Oh yeah, he's lying to us. All the time. Thank you Tulsi. You will be fired. https://www.nytimes.com/2025/05/05/us/trump-venezuela-gang-ties-spy-memo.html
  7. I didn't say he wasn't a better player. All I'm saying is that his usage last year, and it's pretty consistent in his career, is inside and under 10 yards. In fact his career average yards/C is 10.8 and his career YAC/R is 3.2. That means he's catching the ball on average 7.6 yards down the field. That the definition of an inside receiver. With Kincaid, Shakir and Samuel already on the roster, I hope Brady is creative enough to find another way to utilize Moore's speed then just short throws over the middle.
  8. Can we refer to you as Joe Herd?
  9. Numbers are subjective. Scheme and QB play have a lot to do with results. Watch them play over their full body of work. Moore is a much better actual WR than Samuel, whose play screams gadget player with YAC ability
  10. As many of you know, I am a big time Rush fan. But eee gods! What were they thinking with this! And Geddy's hair!
  11. Does this mean @Einstein isn’t Einstein, either? 🤯
  12. I push back on the narrative that the Bills actually had a legit top 10 defense. Sure the #s played that out and you can only play the teams in front of you but there were many seasons in a row the Bills faced a ridiculous amount of trash, rookie, and back up QBs. The Bills defense has always been the same. Makes rookie, and low tier QBs look horrible only to be smashed by good QBs. The answer is simple the back 7 can greatly disrupt bad and young qbs. They can't do that to good QBs. Only a good pass rush can. The Bills have never had one against good QBs. Chiefs might beat other teams in the playoffs but that hasn't changed the fact that the Bengals, Niners, Ravens, Eagles, and the freaking Texans have all had far superior defensive showings against the the Chiefs in the playoffs than any of Buffalo's four attempts. Not surprising either as all those teams have/had superior defensive line talent than what the Bills have been pumping out. Round 1 - 32 year old Jerry Hughes and Trent Murphy with Star Lotulelei as your best DT Round 2 - 33 year old Jerry Hughes and Mario Addison with rookie Ed Oliver and Vernon Butler as your DTs Round 3 - Bills were so badly injured on defense it didn't matter but our Dends were Rosseau and Floyd who fell off a Cliff Week 8. Round 4 - besides Rosseau and Oliver no one is even worth mentioning along the DL. If people actually went back and looked at the Bills DL depth it would come as no surprise why this team can't beat the Chiefs. Josh Allen is the only reason these games are competitive.
  13. You can erase the evidence, but the scars remain
  14. A friend of mine recommends the boxes, said he loved it:
  15. I remember the first time I saw Ruth Buzzi. She was in a "magic" act with comedian, Dom Deluise. He played the magician, Dominic the Great, and she was his assistant Shagugula. I keep remembering Dom saying "No applause please. Save until the end." And Ruth just smiled with this goofy grin. It was laugh out loud funny! Next time I saw her was on Laugh In, which we watched as a family every week.
  16. Today
  17. Can you imagine Fox News surviving without you?
  18. I don’t get this either. It seems like fans have amnesia during the offseason of what the roadblock is. Go back to the last two offseason to read a lot of posts about how Cincy or Balt are more of a threat than KC. Then the postseason happens and we’d get reminded again where the real obstacle is.
  19. Not quite. Moore’s yards per catch last season was 8.8. His YAC/r was 2.2. This means his Air/r was 6.6 yards. That’s not a deep threat. That’s deeper than Samuel or Shakir, but he is an inside receiver or has been in his career. Compare to Palmer. His Y/C was 15 last season and his YAC/R was 2.6. That means his AIR/R was 12.4. Those are the stats of someone who runs deeper routes. Coleman was 19.2 Y/C with a YAC/R of 7.4. His AIR/R 11.8. As I’ve said before, Moore and/or Samuel need to be recast as a deep threat receiver. Otherwise they are redundant inside WRs.
  20. Eh, I wish I could delete my first post in this thread but it’s been quoted. While I don’t believe in the book or the guy (for many reasons), and I have strong opinions on the entire organization, this wasn’t the thread to crap on the believers who find some sort of …. something …. in this whole thing. Apologies to those that this is important to.
