This is so true and it happens in every line of work, not just business. One of the great ironies in life is that the only way to achieve success is to be so good at something that they promote you to a position where you no longer do that thing.

Jason Peters has a super bowl ring. He was on the Iggles squad in 2017. He suffered a season ending injury but still is technically a super bowl winner. -

We've given up a TD on 63.64% of red zone trips which ranks 21st. We need to be top 10 at worst in that metric for that philosophy to work.

Funny how selective that skepticism is - you never demand full, uncut bodycam footage when ICE spins a story. But suddenly random bystanders are supposed to be your personal film crew, serving up a full-length feature to soothe your conspiracy itch. -

Did you ever see his home remodeling show from like 5 years ago? That guy can definitely remodel a house! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Vanilla_Ice_Project -

This is the kind of stuff that newish NBA franchises do when they're trying to inorganically build tradition. The whole "Mr. Brightside" thing falls under this dynamic too, by the way. It's kind beneath a franchise like the Bills, in my opinion, but I think there is a big push across the league to appeal to the under-25 crowd. Seems the NFL is having trouble with viewership in that demo, and this is they type of stuff they like, I guess. -
They were historically healthy last season. hopefully we can be historically healthy this season

Allen, Jackson, Henry. Three future HOF players who have done everything except win a Super Bowl. It's the only left for these players to do in their careers. -

Please stop with this narrative. It’s just not true. 2024 draft - 2 2nd rd picks are Coleman and Bishop. Both are starters and both are significantly improved over last year. Carter is likely a bust but he’s a 3rd rd pick. 2023 draft - Kincaid in the 1st - is a starter and an excellent player, Torrence in the 2nd is a future All-pro guard (maybe as early as this year) and Williams in the 3rd maybe a starter next season and is a solid backup now. 2022 draft - Elam in the 1st is a bust, but Cook in the 2nd is elite, as is Bernard in the 3rd 2021 draft - Rousseau in the 1st is a solid starter, Basham in the 2nd is a bust, but Brown in the 3rd is a Pro Bowl caliber OT. So lets recap 12 selections, 8 starters, 5 high end to elite players (Kincaid, Torrence, Bernard, Cook and Brown) with 2 more still developing (Bishop and Coleman) and one backup who could be a future starter in Williams. How is this even close to screwing up the 3 round picks again every year. I don’t know what Hairston, Sanders and Jackson will become, but considering how wrong this board has been on Shakir, Cook, Bishop, Kincaid, Coleman and others after their 1st season (or two), maybe we need to be a little more patient. Personally I believe in Hairston and Jackson. -
It was very weird. It almost looked like he was saying “YES!” to imply that he was happy the season was over. So weird This is true. From all reports he’s not really much of a CEO as head coach. He basically runs the offense but has always given his defensive coordinator complete autonomy with little to no input.
