  1. Past hour
  2. Again, the most encouraging development in the Steelers game were the contributions made by Ray Davis and Ty Johnson. It gives one hope that we won't run James Cook into the ground before the playoffs even begin.
  3. Couldn’t care less about Ingram. Do think perception around the league matters and im not sure blocking a vet from playing his last year with a team/city he and his wife love, is the greatest karma. On Beane.. I’d be interested to see the age breakdowns of his critics and defenders. From what I see on social media, older folks tend to defend him more and think he’s still doing a good job, whereas younger folks are just about done with him or are close enough to the ledge with him that their belief is he’s done some good but his act has grown stale.
  4. Expect this to be a heavy set and James Cook game. I can see us playing it just like against the Steelers. Allen roughly 20 or so passes and Cook with 30 or so. A lot of play action too.
  5. Origin: Peanut sticks originated at Freddy's Donuts in Buffalo from 1935 to 1989, according to this YouTube video I was in the Army for 20 years and travelled all over and don't remember seeing them anywhere else but here. Same with Beef on Weck
  6. I'm not a huge Beane guy but I am a fair guy and there's a ton of bad takes in this topic. With what I believe to be a vocal minority, Beane just can't win and any roster move is simply an opportunity to pile on the hate. The Bills wanted to improve their depth at a position that has proven thin in previous postseasons. The Bills play the Eagles in 3 weeks. The Bills could end up playing the Eagles in the Super Bowl. The Eagles have an exploitable weakness in cornerback Adoree Jackson. I couldn't care less what Slay or Rosenhaus think or want... and nor should Beane. His job is to try to improve this team. JaMarcus Ingram? Really? Would anyone care to guess at what his career earnings are? Should we take up a collection and buy him a sympathy card?
  7. Completely disagree with you about Beane being considered a very good GM. He’s getting dragged a lot this year and not just by fans like me or hot take artists. Vons injury was brutal. He was a beast before it. But that’s the risk you take when you can’t build a DL and have to pay a mercenary. Benford has been out in consecutive elimination games. Yet we still paid him. Hopefully that doesn’t continue. My only issue with the “it’s the injuries” crowd.. because in fairness.. we’ve been bit in big moments whereas Kansas City, against us, has not…. My only issue is that yall think it’s all bad luck. … I don’t. I think a lot of our injury issues lately are scheme (undersized defensive spine), philosophy (ball control offense that can keep scores close) and personnel (older, past injury history and/or finesse, undersized)
  8. Yup just clicked off base reaction
  9. Slay said in an interview with acho that he has nothing against buffalo but at this point in his career he didn't want to pack up his family to go somewhere new. He did praise the bills organization. Maybe he'll change his mind in a few days or couple weeks Mccoy said if this is your last year, go ahead and leave everything on the field with buffalo because they're a legitimate contender.
  10. There also isn’t some loud contingent saying Beane should be fired. Beane is considered a good to very good GM. He has his share of blunders, as has every GM ever. He’s good. I think he’s done enough with the roster over the years to win a SB. Unfortunately, injuries happen and we’ll never know if his plan would’ve worked if one or two key players had been healthy. Take away Vons injury and Benford missing the last 2 KC playoff games and we’d have one imo. Too bad that’s just make believe
  11. I think mine might be broken
  12. Sign me up for her art class, special edition. Shes a YES please
  13. Many QB's look like Stroud, and Herbert, but the team around them sucks. Both COULD be top tier QBs, but we don't know, because the team around them isn't good enough and that's the GM's fault. Look at Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnald. Both sucked when they were on poorly run teams with poor personnel, and both have now been good on well run teams. Both could have been much better for much longer if they had the support (and players) that Josh has had.
  14. Watching the kicking machine Aubrey work underscores how mediocre or worse the Bills kicking game has been for several years. This table drives the point home as far as this season. (And I consider Prater an improvement over Bass.) Note: Prater's FG percentage is decent but that's partially because he tries fewer 50+ yard field goals than almost any other kicker.
  15. There are definitely chances this year of road teams logging wins. Honestly? I think the bolded is what I meant by "honest" for this exercise: just pick em on feel without regard for end result (bracket).
  16. My mom had us all watch it after Thanksgiving. A bit cringy for me. The love story aspect, all the Bills cameos, and McD. Just bizarro. I was just trying to imagine anyone else out there in the country who enjoyed it who is not from WNY or a Bills fan.
  17. Dak is so hard to gauge. He seems to play pretty well (consistently a top-10 QB every season), but his teams never get it done. This year it's mostly due to a terrible defense. I kind of feel bad for him (but then I think about how much money he makes and I don't feel so bad anymore).
  18. Let’s see who is right. The team with the best defense in the league or the team who can’t defend a paper bag in the playoffs…and to top it off I just saw the stats of the Dallas game and that WR Flournoy taken in like the 6th round of the extremely deep 2024 draft for WRs goes off. Beane is an absolute Joke with evaluating talent.
  19. I didn't think think there was a risk, you'd think the guy wouldn't mind going to a team thats pry going to the playoffs
  20. He'll be back. They always come back
  21. Darius Slay going to be on Emmanuel Acho Speakeasy YouTube show tonight.
  22. Ravens and cowboys are the two most mentally soft teams in the NFL
  23. Everybody in the media was jocking Dallas this week. So i bet on Detroit. Sherm is saying post game how Pickens was cruising in the game and it was unacceptable.
  24. And think about this - The Texans must have valued Ingram over Slay, because they didn’t put a claim in for Slay but did for Ingram. Our assessment was obviously the other way around, apparently overlooking the risk that Slay wouldn’t want to play here.
  25. Stick a fork in the Cowboys, they are done!
