Game week thread - Buccaneers at Bills
Urban Achievers replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
If we look putrid on offense again this week - especially from a scheming players open / pass plays perspective (being much less predictable) - do you think McD pulls a Dorsey? I would guess not unfortunately but curious if anyone else thinks a change is possible. -

I don't understand how Codrington still has a roster spot. Especially with all the injuries this year. -
Anybody going to McCartney tonight?

Went to the Grand Ole Opry “area” last time I was in Nashville for a Bills game. There was a whole festival going on outside, and the mall there was still vibrant, but declined the Opry tour. Would definitely enjoy a show there. -
Homeboy was just on a pregame show joking with Gronk about how rich he is.

Is someone supposed to feel sorry for that arrogant p#%@k? If there is so much value, why not hire a security guard?

Even if McDermott didn't directly order Brady to craft an offense that complemented his defense, that desire has obviously asserted itself. Unbelievably, he and Beane have made an MVP quarterback in his prime into a game manager. The entire planet Earth sees what a waste this is except these two, whose vision will forever be fixated on a) 4-man pressure on a Mahomes; b) a bend don't break defense; c) a running game that eats the clock and keeps the defense fresh. To me, this kind of team is deeply boring and outdated even if it comes to fruition. What's awful is that it hasn't. Beane's d-line still isn't elite despite all those investments, McDermott's defense can't tackle, and the receivers aren't good enough even for a possession offense. With an all-world QB like Allen, they will make the playoffs every year, but even he can't carry a team that hasn't given him enough to work with, much less thrive.

It’s funny you mention the Spin Doctors. They opened for the Blues Travelers at the Ryman Auditorium a few weeks ago I mentioned seeing just above. They were never “my thing” but we loved seeing the Ryman, a great old venue that was a nice size for me.

That's awesome those are some great shows to see Spin Doctors is certainly a name from the 90s

Peyton Manning joins Josh Allen to help Buffalo break curse

I suppose in her defense she didn't write that temu dusk til dawn movie. -
He has six total targets this year. Six. Kincaid is playing roughly a third of the snaps. Meanwhile, the receiver getting the most playing time is Coleman. They have no idea how to utilize offensive players. That's why I didn't care about them not trading for Waddle. Who cares? They could get into a time machine and bring back 1998 Randy Moss, and he wouldn't do dick in this system.

I think this is good advice for everyone. It will lead to a more pleasant and satisfying life. Why make yourself crazy over stuff you cannot control? AI Overview The Serenity Prayer is a popular prayer asking for the serenity to accept things one cannot change, the courage to change the things one can, and the wisdom to know the difference. It is widely associated with Reinhold Niebuhr, a Lutheran theologian, and has been adopted by groups like Alcoholics Anonymous as a core part of their program. The main message is to focus on what is within one's control while accepting what is not, promoting inner peace and strength

Sorry that’s Mamdani.

Amen Don. I feel for Brady as he has floundered, but when your promised a filet, and given the worst fattiest ground beef, what do you think is the result. Beane is the one that bears the ultimate blame. I’m so sick of hearing about the WR train and nothing happens for over 5 years. It’s either stupidity or arrogance. I’m not accusing anyone of anything, just it’s one or the other.

Bills fans tried to return Tom Brady’s property once before during a game and he didn’t even have the decency to pick it up so you’ll have to excuse me if I don’t care.

I always enjoyed shows at the Town Ballroom. I’ve seen three “big” names there (Spin Doctors, Halestorm, Kid Rock) and was never disappointed in the performance. -
Nobody is scared of 3yd outs to receivers with a 50% catch rate. With Brady’s refusal to throw down field despite having the strongest armed qb in the league, we have to depend on the run for any kind of chunk play
-
We 100% need a PR this week who is not Shakir, given his injury status, be it Hardman or Codrington with Hardman much more able to be a WR4 compared to Codrington being a CB4.

I’m confused here. Schumer declares that the intelligence community has six ways from Sunday to get you. He doesn’t suggest legal means, he doesn’t speak of thorough, legal investigations. His messaging is quite clear here, and he’s one of the most powerful people in our government, and by extension, the world. Wouldn’t the IC be “the real people”, working at the behest of those who run the world?
