Greg Rousseau has turned out to be a complete slug.
Brand J replied to Walking Tall's topic in The Stadium Wall
There are 3 players who haven’t been negatively affected by getting paid: Ed Oliver, Spencer Brown, James Cook. That’s it. Everyone else who got a bag has taken a step back and become lesser versions of themselves. Don’t know if the hunger is gone, or if they’re just too comfortable, but I don’t think this is what Beane imagined when he was handing out contracts. -
Allen missed a wide open Knox on the final play

Yeah, let’s not acknowledge James Cook who had over 100 rushing and our only offensive TD. I guess that doesn’t matter. Allen is the only good player on the team. I forgot -
The way they are playing now, maybe 2-3 wins

This years over. I’m done being a bills fan lol. First round exits. Patriots division now. We are the worst team in nfl history. -

I never heard Josh say winning a Superbowl is no longer a must. In fact, when he won the MVP, he downplayed the honor, saying “You know, it is such a great honor, and I do appreciate being honored for my work, but at the same time, I still didn’t win a Super Bowl. Didn’t win a ring, and that is the only goal. It’s the only focus that I’ve ever had going into this league.” I know since he's gotten married, he has gained perspective regarding if he never wins one. He'll look at it as the "one that got away" but it also won't negate the other accomplishments he's had in life.

Baltimore has won 4 games in a row. That is by definition a surge in wins for them. Tap dance around it all you want, they are getting healthier at the right time. With the schedule compared to ours, it's not unfathomable that they surge right past us.

You're one of the few people advocating for hiring Daboll. I don't know if I'm there yet but the idea has merit. I suspect that Daboll would do better in his 2nd stint as HC and he would redirect the strategic focus to the offense while there are still prime Allen years left. And signing Pickens should be the #1 priority of this front office in the off season. -
Exactly, weighs those guys down. Particularly Schnowman. 🙂

Allen missed a wide open Knox on the final play

I love Monday morning armchair quarterbacks. He should have done this or done that. Unbelievable! Yeah, he has no WR’s and the OC sucks big time! No Qb would be successful with this crappy ass offense. -

Allen has always had stinkers, but never this many in one season. I don’t care what the majority of the board thinks. Something is absolutely going on. -
I am begining to think this team has to many "business men" and not enough "sickos"

I can’t repeat enough that we seem to be ignoring the hammering he took including an injury immediately proceeding this throw. I feel like we need to splice him trying to fix his throwing hand alongside him not having his normal zip on this throw -
Yes, this is silly

Read the first three words of the title really excited, then the next 6 sad

Oh boy. He’s not paid like an adequate pass rusher my friend. And that is the problem. He’s paid to be the guy. Nick Bonitto doesn’t make that much more and regularly shows up, same with Karlaftis. Those guys who are paid double produce in excess of double the plays imo. For the record, I’m a Groot supporter but his play is like you said… adequate. Adequate isn’t what you need if you has aspirations of a Super Bowl.

Here are the three reasons we lose to lesser teams: 1. Turnovers 2. Turnovers 3. Turnovers Ok. I know it's more than that but the Bills in past seasons hardly ever turnover the ball. In the last 3 games we turned it over 8 times! That's not Bills' football.

I guess the bottom line is, whoever is allegedly in charge of the circus at OBD needs to go. Too many misses in the draft and in free agency.

This as a first step. Or do what NE did - hire a defensive minded head coach who is confident enough to bring in an experienced, elite offensive coordinator. In this way you get the right culture and right strategy/tactics for your elite QB. -
Rousseau is a complimentary DE, being paid as an A. He’s would be best served in the role rotating DE’s, Autry and Barnett, play for DeMeco Ryans i.e. playing early runnings downs then bring in the absolute game wreckers in Anderson and Hunter. Sure, he has had some nice tipped Int‘s and plays, but he has not once had a game that’s he’s completely taken over. A huge problem is the Bills do not have anyone on the defensive side of the ball the opposing offenses have to game plan for.

Have to cut the head off the snake, McD has to go and take his assistants with him -
That's an assumption on those other teams, none of them are playoff proven. Just like when KC was a wild card team a few years ago and everyone thought their offense wasn't good enough, and then it was. Last year the Bills allow over 40 points in back to back games, and everyone thought we were screwed. Then the defense does well in the wild card and divisional games. If the reality is an 11-6 Bills team goes into Denver in the Wild Card game, I'm still picking the Bills to win.

Just wait until KC has a 3rd place schedule next year. They will probably get the #1 seed.

Some so called bills fans just don’t like Allen. So when he makes a bad play (which every Qb does) they love to point it out and say I told you so!!! We would be a two win team without Allen, but let’s not pick every mistake he makes. Unbelievable!
