Week 11, Bucs v. Bills, PREDICT THE SCORE!
RiotAct replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bucs 38 Bills 23 The rain turns to snow at the beginning of the 4th quarter, which quickly turns to ash, which then finally coalesces into a giant portal to another dimension that starts to suck up the Bills players… but it tries to take Keon Coleman first and he is able to shut it with his unusually low degree of kinetic energy. After that, the urinal troughs in every mens room within the stadium shatter at once. -

This line of thinking is just asinine! To be clear, I don’t think regime change is a bad idea but you do realize who the owner is. He will literally die before removing McBeane so it would make more sense for the fans on this train to go root for another team. Or just wait 10 more years (your choice of course). McBeane are lifers in this organization. How do people not know/see this is beyond me!! Arggghhh -

People always forget the Pats were the “easy” team the last 2 years.. and I absolutely agree without Vrabel and Josh M here they aren’t close to 8-2. -

24-16 Bills. Don't think it will be pretty if we are missing Kincaid and Shakir, but they'll get it done at home. -

The Bills win big and we are all left to continue questioning, and second guessing everything about this team for another week. The NFL doesn't make any sense. 34-17 Bills -

Bills 24 Bucs 20 I'm not going to pretend that I have any idea what Bills team will show up this week. I'm just going with my gut. I think Tampa coming up to cold possibly wet Buffalo is going to struggle to find momentum. Our OL will be pissed at themselves over last week's performance so they'll have something to prove and I expect our run game to get back on track. Palmer being back will give our boundary passing game a boost. I expect somewhat of a sloppy game on both sides that we pull out mainly because of our home field advantage. -

dynamic kickoffs - will they last? (The Athletic)

Love the conspiracy theory that suggests that rule was put into place to give the refs more control to manipulate the final point totals for gambling purposes. It's completely ridiculous but just reasonable enough to entertain it. -

I've kind of gotten used to the new kick off rules. Doesn't really bother me. I also won't be shocked when the big brains of the NFL come up with something like, well less players on kickoffs equals less chance of injury....so kickoffs are now 7 on 7. Honestly, I get safety, but if the really wanna fix kickoffs....stop with the flags on every dang return. -
Joe B article - Elijah Moore, Curtis Samuel, Gabe Davis
Pasaluki replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
Curtis Samuel has been straight trash for us and a waste of money. I had hopes for him but hes nothing but a JAG. Elijah is better but they keep running those dumb jet plays I feel like he knows more routes than that. -
Congratulations again to last week's winner, @RiotAct! The Tampa Bay Buccaneers make the roady to OP to take on the Bills at Highmark. Will the Bills have a Miami hangover? Or will they come out and take it to the Bucs? I'm going with the former. I think the Bills trail the Bucs all the way in this one. Superfly gonna carve up the Bills secondary like a Christmas turkey. Bills score a TD late to make the final score look better than it is. Until the Bills can demonstrate consistency, I'm back to where I was before the KC game, which is from Missouri. It’d be nice to see. I am skeptical. The issues we had running the ball against Miami were: 1) execution - too many missed blocks, physically beaten or mental errors across mostly the left side of the line and the tight ends. 2) defensive alignment - the 5 man defensive front Miami played our heavy personnel with allow their LBs to play relatively clean and downhill. That created a lot of issues at the second level. The traditional 3-4 look that Tampa will play with will be similar. 3) No differentiation in the run game - we really run the same 4-5 running plays over and over with minor variations. It’s mid zone, outside zone, power/counter and duo. Now to be fair they run these about a million different ways but the bones are all the same. Brady has to counter this. How? That’s his job to know. But I will speculate for fun: I’d like to see more heavy personnel usage from the gun. I think that gives them the ability to run AND pass which will put more pressure on the Lbs. How about the return return of the quick hitting TE pop pass, introducing new quick hitting misdirection in the run game (trap, wham) and rolling Allen out flooding a side of the field getting him on the edge in a dual threat position. Should be a fun one! -
True, but this also derives from the world of technology we live in. 30 years ago you would have some idiot loudmouth at a bar spew dumb thoughts. Then it transferred to the post game call in shows. Then to internet boards like this and Twitter ECT. Perfect example, there is literally a thread on this very board calling for Allen to be benched. And, being that these days people are either scared or unable to have original thoughts of their own, they mimick and repeat what they hear. Not for nothing, but again, right here on this very board how often do you see someone try and prove their opinion with the term "Joe Marino says..." Of course, modern technology also leads to things like Red Zone, where you will see a long streak of kicks that "should" be converted, missed. So perhaps it seems like more kicks missed than actually occur.

All of this is amazing and needs to be studied but the purity of the game is gone when you can't surprise onside kick anymore. -
The kickers today are worlds more accurate than kickers 30 years ago. If a guy was 80% he was considered one of the best in the league. Nowadays 80% will have any teams fanbase calling for your head
