ARGHHHHH, run out of the Dogfish, and all i got left in the fridge is Bud Light and ShockTop. Crack the Bud, and it doesn't taste near as horrible as I thought it would????Can I really be that drunk after 4 beers??? MattyT Posted September 10, 2009 Share Posted September 10, 2009 The best explanation I can come up with is that those 90 min Dogfish's had TOO much flavor and now you're just having a hard time focusing on what the heck a BL actually tastes like because you're no longer tasting anything of substance....mostly cheap adjuncts like corn and rice. TBH, I sometimes employ the same tactic when I have nice brews around but with Labbatt Blue instead of Bud. I'd much rather have 2 or 3 of the good beers live on to start the next session instead of get wasted as my 5th or 6th glass of the night. Cheers! Down the hatch. Odd, but the same experience confirmed hatred for Bud Light . . . . I HATED the Bud light when I was in Vegas a few years back. Stick with Guinness . . . Unfortunately some Coors Light found its way into my cooler at the Bears preseason game and now sits in my fridge. It will be free to anyone who has the bad taste to like it at the Bucs game, although presumably some regular at my tailgate likes it or it wouldn't have ended up in my cooler. Ended up at the total wine today and bought a case of the 60, two four packs of the 90's, and two four packs Allagash White. However, also bought a twelve pack of Bud Light...I have two Pats fans coming over Monday night and damn right thats all those fuggers are being offered!!!
