A question about Sean Hannity

Because Obama IS a socialist.In 8 months he has had the government control the banking and auto industries. Now he's after the health care industry. He hires communists (his 'green czar"). Most people are legitimately scared that our way of life will be lost.

You can't say you didn't expect this. Hannity and others were warning how left Obama was during the campaign. Obama has proved them right.

Wrong. Obama got the auto companies but the banks were Bush's. And, by the way, the banks are now out of the red and paying back those loans. Not out of the woods yet of course but it looks like that bailout kept the bottom from completely dropping out.

And the auto companies will be cut loose too.

Medicare = Socialism

Medicaid = Socialsim

SSI = Socialism

and etc. Maybe reconsider HOW you define socialism. Obama's not a socialist.

Speaking of coming out, when is Obama and his wife going to admit they're good old fashioned chitown radicals and stop with the phony act? Michelle's profile has been kept so low it's as if she was abducted by aliens.

She's got kids to take care of. Laura Bush wasn't exactly front and center either.

I suppose if you like your first ladies to be out in everyone's face you must have LOVED Hillary then eh?

Fixed it for you...

And yes, Obama is a wealth re-distributing Socialist. Those are his core values.

Speaking of core values, if you disagree, what are Obama's core values and where did he get them? Just curious on your opinion. Harvard?

The funny part for me is that I think Hannity is missing most of this....

1. More and more I am starting to become convinced that Obama pulled off one of the greatest magic tricks of all time. Magic is all about misdirection. And Obama misdirected a lot of people, including the press, into supporting him. Hannity was busy yelling about a nut-job, but irrelevant, reverend and a whack-job old terrorist/hippie, also irrelevant, during the campaign. This caused Hannity to ignore the very relevant, patently ridiculous people that would end up getting a job at the White House. Now that's damn good misdirection. A hell of a trick.

These are the people either doing or attempting to do real damage to this country(Czars), and Hannity completely missed it. These people are self-admitted Communists and socialists. So while you can complain about Hannity calling Obama a socialist, you CANNOT complain when I point out the people who self-apply those terms.

2. Rather than call Obama a socialist....he's starting to look more and more like a sheer opportunist. We all know the type...the guy that gets by, never taking a position on/doing anything real, and then suddenly seizing on an opportunity and taking it as far as it will go. The problem with these guys is: 90% of the time they can't be effective at the position they have attained, because it was external events, not they themselves, that put them in that position.

The best example of Obama being an ineffective opportunist is the healthcare debate. Obama has never been elected due to his ability to put solid policy together, see it through to completion, and manage it going forward. Obama has never managed an organization in his life...and that is becoming blatantly obvious. Every manager knows that when an initiative is put forward, wherever it comes from, and it becomes their responsibility, the very last thing you want to do is allow the agenda to be set by somebody else. This is not about "not working with others", so spare me. Quite the opposite. You want to work with others...but it is your meeting and the questions, and the acceptable answers, are owned by you. Why? Because as the manager...its YOUR responsibility to...manage, and see the damn thing done!

What did Obama do? The exact opposite = leaving it to Congress. And I am sorry but there are NO DOUBT that there are blatant socialists in that group, especially the ones that won't agree to anything other than a public option. I will add "fascist" to the name-calling mix...because anybody who values the state over the individual is a fascist...by strict definition.

Hannity is attacking Obama...but for the wrong reasons... He should be attacking Congress, or, he should be attacking Obama for ducking his job.

That's not true. All though Bush initiated the Bailout, none of the banks were nationalized until after Obama took office. Also, you said that the "banks are now out of the red and paying back those loans". That isn't even a half truth, only certain banks have paid back the loans, approximately $70 Billion of it, which leaves in the hundreds of billions of dollars left to be paid back. The only banks that paid back the bailout, were banks that never even asked for the money in the first place, the Treasury made a decision to hand out bailout funds to whom they deemed necessary. I can assure you, that we will not see the rest of that money in a very long time if not ever.

I just wanted to make sure you that you weren't sharing "misinformation" (such a catchy word isn't it?) to our board members. :worthy:

Most people are legitimately scared that our way of life will be lost.

So? Is that so bad. One door closes, another opens. We are living better than we ever have... Still people fall through the cracks and have it worse than ever... Time to tweek it even more and dwindle those numbers... Even if it means at a cost/loss to my family and myself personally.

You know you can do that now, it's called charity and volunteering.

I'm proposing this idea to other posters here, because simply I find his recent programming completely unbearable.

First things first, I voted for Obama and am a registered Democrat. Am I a "leftist revolutionary" or "communist" or "socialist?" No. But I'm sure anyone, who happens to lean left of center at all nowadays is reading Marx, Engels, Lenin, Mao, and Stalin, right?

This is what I can't stand about Hannity's program. He glorifies and literally deifies this "Tea Party" Tour, going to 16 states in 15 days or whatever it is. This total tool that pumps up the crowd interviews a bunch of angry white folks that hate Obama's push for health care and inevitable "socialist" Obamanation that will come out of it.

They show about 90 seconds from that crowd, and then cut to the much maligned supporters of the President for about half the time on the air. They are packaged like rabid, diseased idiots that dare SUPPORT the President of the United States of America. This is what bothers me so much. During the 8 years of Bush, Hannity could not go a day without talking about how "unAmerican" it was that people criticize our Commander in Chief so much. A true American would support our leader in all his efforts, despite politics, for the greater good of the country. Is this not a complete about-face when he has absolutely no respect for anyone that supports the opposition party when the Democrats earned the votes, and the mandate from the American public in November? Look, I know his policies are currently unpopular and his poll numbers are dropping, but there are people that want our President to succeed and lead our country back to prominence. Is that so bad?

Why do I feel guilty that I wanted him to lead this country every time I watch Hannity's program? I don't like being belittled for my political opinion. Criticize the policy, not the people supporting it. Sure, I'm gonna get a bunch of negative criticism for this post. But this is NOT an Anti-Obama or Pro-Obama stance. Merely bringing light to an issue I take very seriously: respect for one's deeply held political beliefs.

Cheer up... I find him unbearable 90% of the time.

If A Republican were in charge and proposing the same health care program they'd be a HERO in the FAUX New's eye

No they wouldn't.

It's easy to understand why not, it really is, conservatives want less government in their life, libs want more.

Come on BillsFan, you can do better than that :rolleyes:

Which certainly explains the DHS and Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit, right? Jesus, can any of you people think for yourselves?

You are either high, ignorant, or deliberately spreading misinformation. If you think the USA is heading for socialism, you obviously don't have the first clue what the word means. What you call a government takeover of banking and auto companies was a desperate attempt to keep the US economy from collapsing, which by the way, seems to have worked. He's only cleaning up the shitzstorm your boys Cheney and Bush left.

But hey, don't waste any brain cells trying to think or learn about anything yourself. Just slouch in your La-z-boy, flip on Faux News and let Sean and Glenn tell you what to think.

Yeah, everything is only the fault of the previous administration. How very honest.

Now sit in your easy chair, flip on MSNBC and let Olbermann and Matthews tell you what to think. :)

I can certainly think for my self A.D. and you must have me confused with some other partisan shill.

And your statement has very little to do with the substance of my comment.

Let's not confuse my post with what Republicans have recently done and what core conservative values are, such as wanting less government.

Let's not confuse the issue with our actions, but with what we vaguely talk about. You could easily fit in on either side with that mentality.

The republicans have been and still are a mess. That is why they are where they are. However, that has nothing to do with my comment, in regards to conservative core values, which I have just about always maintained and most likely always will.
