  1. Well, I may have been wrong on reports of MSGs being unarmed. There are now reports that they were in fact armed. We'll see how this shakes out.
  2. Tom Donilon is a buffoon with NO business or qualifications to be the NSA (I wrote NSC earlier in a typo). Therefore reports that Marine Security Guards were not allowed to carry loaded weapons in a somewhat hostile country on the anniversary of 9/11 is that much nore troubling. Before you try to flame me, I know MSG's work for the State Dept and that it is the ambassador's discretion, but seriously...WTF? BTW, you know all those top secret leaks that came out of the White House? Bet the farm it was Dolilon.
  3. The Fed just shot their FPF- Final Protective Fire. They literally have no bullets left in their magazine after this. They'd better hope this works, but why would it? The last two rounds didn't. The Ben Bernank is a gold bugs best friend!
  4. You really can't blame Obama for not knowing about this...he hadn't attended any intelligence briefings in over a week. And why would he with that worthless political hack Tom Donilon as his NSC. There's so many things wrong with this administration and this series of events, God help us if this clown is re-elected.
  5. Dwight- If you re-read what I wrote, you may have misunderstood...I didn't intend it to read that the Bills beat Miami in the Rockpile. I know we beat Miami in Rich Stadium, as I was there and it remains one of my best memories of attending a game with my Dad.
  6. I'm 45. Went to my first Bills game with my Dad at the Rockpile. We would always go to one or two games a year. I was at the Miami game where we broke the streak and stormed the field. I still have a piece of the field goal netting and turf from that game somewhere. I actually jumped on Reggie McKenzie's back and got a quick ride towards the tunnel as the players departed at that game. What a memory! I grew up in Hamburg and joined the Marine Corps at 18, leaving Buffalo in 1985. I still continue to be a Bills fan despite my better judgement. Though I lived for many years and have settled in San Diego, I cannot root for the Chargers, I don't have it in me. I've corrupted my kids and they are also Bills fans. I'm a pretty good Dad other than that. LOL!
  7. "We had to burn the village to save it" actually applies here. Our system of fiat is doomed to fail. The only question is what rises from the ashes- if anything?
  8. Tom Donilon is the leaker. Bet the farm on it. This is the political operative Barry appointed as his National Security Advisor who had NO prior experience in this arena. Feinstein is a joke. I wonder what they promised her to shut her clap trap?
  9. Absolutely agree...We built this city...garbage! Chaccarron Macaron anyone?
  10. For me, this really shows what a narcissist this guy is. Seriously, this is a bit disturbing.
  11. Agreed WRT Brewer. Though I like her toughness, it seems to me that her cocktail hour starts quite a few hours earlier than most of ours.
  12. Exactly. It's comical how the Libs are trying to spin the Romney spoke at the NAACP with the intent of getting booed to shore up the racist white vote, and that by suggesting he would repeal BarryCare it was also racist. Oh yea, and his statement that he would "throw the whole kitchen cabinet" at issues was also racist. This is gonna be a fun fall I tell you!
  13. Alan West would be my choice. Dude is as straight up as they come. Romney choosing him would cause a Scanners style cascade of Liberal head explosions the like of which we've never seen. I particularly love that he's so non-PC and would take the fight straight to the Libs. Could you imagine him debating Biden? No way does he select Brewer though. She's waaay too rough around the edges. Actually, I don't think he has the stones to select West either though.
  14. Barry's campaign has descended into 'crap throwing monkey' phase faster than expected. Before you all brand me a racist, I'm not talking about Barry specifically, but his campaign staff, which we all know consist solely of white people.

  16. Terribly tragic loss for both the Seau family and San Diego. I live in Oceanside a few miles from where Junior lives and would see him regularly at a few of the resteraunts my wife and I like to eat at. Shoot, I would regularly see him sitting on the Strand playing his ukelele with a smile for anyone who said hello. I don't know what caused him to take his life, but I don't think it's because of his lack of noteriety since he retired.

  18. I just watched "Law Abiding Citizen" last night. This guys seems to rate that kind of treatment...
  19. Great discussion OC. To deny that culture is a primary factor is foolish. It, as you pointed out, is not race specific. I also can relate to your military comparison having spent 21 years of my life in the Corps. I also agree with M.D.'s comments about the importance of strong parenting at home that supports a strong work ethic and education. But doesn't that lead back to culture?
  20. Wondering the same thing. Justin.tv not cutting it today
  21. Don't worry...Jesse is on the scene and calm will be restored soon! http://www.wkbt.com/Global/story.asp?S=14058089
  22. I wonder how long it will be until they prohibit Chaplains from teaching that homosexuality is a sin. It will soon likely be considered hate speech and who knows what the punishment will be...
  23. So I watched the show (my wife likes it), and am a hunter myself. What hasn't been discussed is that her Dad (the guide) earlier in the show took a bad fall going down a hill while carrying the rifle. I'm not sure if that was what caused it to be 'off', but likely could've caused a properly sighted in rifle to shoot off target. I don't disagree with many of the points here, specifically that Palin isn't a regular hunter, but it is clear that she has hunted in the past. I'll even admit to the guilty pleasure of enjoying the show for its scenery and the Palin family overall, who seems like a nice family. I also dig that they're able to go out and hunt much of their own food. I also enjoy watching the left foam at the mouth and have epileptic fits whenever she speaks, it's quite enjoyable! But whoever opined about this being the most pathetic thread ever is pretty much on target...
  24. I didn't watch the video but help me out here. Was there people on it asking for free stuff? Did Peggy make an appearance?
  25. Don't worry folks...all is well. Nanzi Peloski is all over this! http://www.washingtontimes.com/blog/waterc...-wtc-mosque-op/
