What's the most random jersey you've ever seen?

Recommended Posts

Two good solid football players though.

Cecil was a Pro Bowler and a real head hunter at safety so that's passable.

I have nothing against gays but I remember when NFL Properties refused to print jerseys with Randall Gay's last name on back. They finally caved in as I recall because he is an actual NFL football player but apparently many gays were actually ordering his jersey.

Cecil maybe have been a Pro-Bowler but to me it just seemed odd.

I have one more that I forgot. When I was at the draft there was a huge guy with a custom Tampa Bay Bucs jersey. One side was away, and one side was home, I think the number was 33, and the name on the back read... "BLACK NASTY". Even Commissioner Goodell commented that he liked it. It was funny.

Authentic Ravens Jersey......

Took my, at that time, girlfriend (now my wife) to a Bills game in Baltimore. Told her how lame Baltimore's crowd was, and that their new stadium is kind of blah, and that the crowd won't give us much schitt because both teams sucked. I think the Bills were like 1-5 and the Ravens 2-3 or something. Can't remember.

Anyway, we get up there to our seats, and I spot the typical douchebag with an authentic #69 Ravens jersey on. Now, one would ask themselves why in the hell someone would buy a $250 jersey and put #69 on it. And as we drew closer to our seats I started to realize that this tool might be sitting next to us. He not only was next to us, he also had Deez Nutz as the jersey name on the back of it.

So, here we are, sitting next to a double fisted beer guzzling, #69 wearin', Deez Nutz sporting, idiot who ran his mouth the whole fuggin game about how the Bills sucked. I think it was the worst sporting event I've ever been to in my life.

So, my vote:

#69 Ravens - authentic - personalized - Deez Nutz

Dude. That was me. Unbelievable story. At Yankee Stadium in 2007 in June vs. Mets and 4 dudes roll up in our section wearing the following jerseys: Chris Cooley Redskins, Lavarenues Coles Jets, Brad Johnson Vikings and Jeff Saturday Colts. It was truly bizarre, obviously many questions arise from this. So there ends up being a long rain delay, we leave early, end up catching the last couple innings on TV and sure enough, these four guys had moved up and are sitting right behind home plate. I'll never forget those four jerseys, to this day I am at a complete loss.

I know it's just me, but I have no idea why anyone would want a Brian Moorman jersey. I see them everywhere. Even if he were my favorite player, I could never wear one because it illustrates how bad we are as a team when our fans are wearing the jersey of our punter. I would never want any fan from another team to see that schit. It's embarrassing, IMO.

I can't believe someone actually had a Jason Whittle jersey. It must have been family or a personal friend?

whittle is pretty good. i saw a chris watson one once. had to be custom made

I saw this slow, big white dude where a Kelsay jersey a few times. He seemed to have really good character. He also kinda strutted around like he made more money than he was worth. Also, someone let him onto the field, but all he did was run around the other team's QB, so there really was no harm.

By far, the most random guy wearing a Bills jersey who shouldn't have been

Not a Bills jersey, or even a football jersey, but when I was younger (this must have been about 1997 or so) I got a New York Knicks John Wallace jersey. You guys from CNY will remember John Wallace. I actually still have it and may bust it out some day...

I also own a john wallace jersey.

It is still in a closet at my parents house.

Most random is tough, I mean I saw a guy no more than 3 or 4 years ago wearing a wesley walls jersey. That was good but not as monumental as the guy I saw at Kenmore lanes wearing the NFL authentic Matt Leinart Jersey no less than a week after they lost in the super bowl this year. If you own that jersey, don't u just shelf it and hope that something bad happens to warner? Or did he get some type of phenomenal deal on it, like hes just a cash-strapped cards fan living in buffalo and it happened to be available for five dollars at amvets? So many questions rushed through my mind when I saw that one. I still have a picture of this on my phone in fact.

I derive great enjoyment from seeing anyone who is still sporting a bryce paup jersey at home games too. Just buy a new one already.
