  1. manti te'o can't hold lavonte david's jock....based off of what? friggin guy is on track to be a heisman finalist, as a LB. he's junior seau. if it's not a QB, we gotta get him.
  2. don't really know what to say. shocking doesn't do it justice. of all the disappointments (mario, fitz, no pass rush, safety play), dareus' sucktitude might be the worst. compounding that problem is the fact that there are a few hall-of-fame type of talents drafted right after him. would certainly be par for the !@#$ing course if we swung and missed again in the top 5 of a draft. he NEEDS to pick it up and play to his "potential" or we're in worse shape than we think.
  3. i hope this thread is still available in 15 years when Dareus has a bunch of pro-bowls, while Luck has a few MVPs and a couple rings. we're not this delusional and stupid of a fan base are we? Dareus, Freddy, Stevie/Mario/Gilmore/etc. Where do I sign?
  4. Truth. Also glad Buddy is the one making the big decisions. Fairley seems like the type of guy who will never get his head on straight.
  5. technically, this is the only right answer now that i think about it. 3 yards on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd down guarantees to move the chains. No brainer.
  6. Mario can run a 4.55, i heard they're trying him at safety next to Byrd. We're running a 5-2 up front, with Kenny Wu in the middle diving under the center's legs after the snap.
  7. not sure, but tim graham managed to not sound like a 6th grader doing the same job. i follow the guy (walker) on twitter, and you'd think he was some guy running his own blog that gets 14 hits a day. instead, he works for ESPN. mindboggling.
  8. james walker is absolute garbage. half of the posters on this board are better writers that than guy.
  9. once again. LOL @ people actually putting the 1991 roster with >>>>>> next to the 2012 roster. no kidding guys. HE'S !@#$ING WITH YOU.
  10. if anyone says no, citing team chemistry and how everyone loves fitz and ****, then you need to be drug tested. you substact fitz and add brees to this team, and we're a top 5 SB favorite.
  11. why does this thread need a link? do you really not get the joke? also, chill out.
  12. Byrd. 13 INTs in 3 seasons. Yet, has lack of ball skills. :wallbash: :wallbash: If the following things happen, we could have a top 5 defense as soon as this season. - Sheppard locks down the MLB spot and shows he's a solid NFLer. - Morrison plays like he did a few years back OR one of our rookie OLB comes in and lights it up. - Gilmore is ready to play at a high level from day 1, and maintains a pro bowl type level i'll temper my expectations though, and say we finish somewhere between 10-15. there's just no way everything will go perfectly from the get go. there's always injuries, and a few players that don't live up to expectations. the talent is there though, that's for sure. you have at least 5 players who can play at an elite level, and that's not including our ultra talented young CBs. we just NEED anything from the LBing core.
  13. If we're talking about being an ambassador to the Bills and pumping up the city of Buffalo, it's Stevie by a mile. The guy is literally a god-send. Others: - Fred - Aaron Williams - Wilson
  14. right, because the last 2 years have gone the exact same as the previous 10...
  15. I actually agree with your original point, but think you're jumping the gun with Dalton by claiming Buddy made a mistake. Dalton looks promising, but at this point, he's an unknown. Often in sports rookies can surprise due to a type of sneak attack. The opposition doesn't have any film, doesn't know what to expect, and before you know it, you've underestimated the guy and lost the game. Same goes for Tebow vs. Pittsburgh. That was more about Denver's suddenly aggressive playcalling, and less about Tebow.
  16. Bayless is the king of the clowns. Guy is clueless about everything. Hates on Tiger, Lebron, and A. Rodgers - worships Tebow. I take his opinions seriously, only as a way to know the opposite is probably true.
  17. there is absolutely no substance to that entire piece.
