Also, How is giving a staring TE for 2 years in Gibbs offense 10 million over 5 years a stupid move, but paying a WR that averages about 40 catches a year 31 million and 10-11 million upfront is a great move? I mean, maybe Royal should have gotten 5 years 7-8 million, but there is no way El is worth that much money. Plus, Nall only got 1.3 million for a 4 year Vet? How is that alot? I think it's a little over the top and makes me want to dismiss the article. Vanderjagt missed a big kick but suggesting that he has been the problem in Indy the last few years is riciculous. I am not sure what to think about the Nall signing. I wouldn't say he is getting starter money, but for the amount of experience he has, it is not just a pocket change minimum contract either... I was flipping through a bunch of old football annuals, from the last five years or so, seeing what the "experts" at Athlon, Street & Smith, Pro Football Weekly, etc, about Craig Nall...all say consistantly, "good arm", say he does not "force passes"...Lindy's, in this past year, mentions that Nall has the "potential to become a solid back-up QB in the NFL."
