That play looked ugly until it wasn't.

 

It's 4th down.  We really, really need to convert but Allen faces pressure quickly and starts scrambling.  #92 shadows him and Allen can't juke him.  Suddenly Allen stops with his feet parallel and in that awkward position he throws to Shakir who's surrounded by Bengals in the endzone including #44 who's directly in front of Shakir allowing no apparent window whatsoever.   

 

I hated every moment of that play until Shakir caught the ball.  I don't know how many QBs could have made that throw under those circumstances but it's not many.

Nothing against him he has had a great situation for years and years and years and years... I've always said if you're not getting better in the NFL you're getting worse 

 

Josh's stats might not always be better than the year before but you could see parts of his game that are always improving.. I don't think Pat has improved in 2 years

 

 

I kinda agree with what you are saying but there are two things to take in to account here......Patsy has lost the recievers he once had, not only are they leaving but they are getting older....sorta same thing with JA17.  Somehow at times JA17 defies the gods and pull shite outa his arse and today was proof of that.  Kudos to Joe Brady also.....Fort Knox was AWESOMENESS today.....need to keep feeding him.  Obviously the BENGals have issues with TE's, well documented, it was goood to see that Brady adjusted to that......will be interesting to see what the Bills do this week in Foxboro......

And what does that say about our coaching and our quarterback? Top to bottom they have at least the same talent we do yet they've been scoring seven points less for like 3 years 

 

Maybe our coaching actually maximizes what we have even if it's not always pretty

 

Mahomes is getting paid hundreds of millions of dollars to elevate players... He doesn't look like the MVP he looked like when he had two Hall of famers 

 

Josh still has been playing at an MVP level without that for years

 

Everybody has down days.. Josh still is an ascending player which is crazy to think because mahomes is certainly not ascending

Dunno about coaching so much.....Brady has his HUGE ups and down.  Josh?  Well Josh is Josh and few people ar gonna match that.  Crazy was FOX blows on covering what JA17 has accomplished.  ANOTHER TD thrown and TD rushed game for JA17.  CRAZY!  I sure hope ole Beano doubles down on getting WR's for JA17 next season,,,,,as in HUGE double down.  He made an ass outa hisself, he needs to atone!!

As I said look at the Chiefs.. they have had the same if not more talent on offense a Hall of Fame play caller and Patrick mahomes the anointed one 

 

And they score 22 points a game 

 

We've averaged 28 , 30.8 and like 27

 

It's insane to think our coaching doesn't have anything to do with it.. I will say the offensive coordinator is always the least like person in any organization 

 

 you have to maximize the skill set of your offense and defense to consistently do well in the NFL...case in point Kansas city's last couple years .. our coaching is maximizing what we have on offense... It's not always pretty.. it's not easy to put up our point total the last 3 years

 

Joe b has had stud casts, never averaged 30 per game 

 

So no our coaching is severely underrated around here thinking we always have bums.. fans around the NFL know the bills could score 30 not even playing their a-game

 

What we haven't had is health in the playoffs that is truly the difference

 

McDermott has out coached Andy Reid during our five straight regular season wins

He now has 77 Rushing TDs and is ranked #25 All Time, tied with Tony Dorsett.

 

Let’s forget about his RECEIVING TDs.

 

If you had the first two together, he slides up to #15 All Time!

Was it this unreal 75-yard TD to Robert Foster in Josh's rookie season? To this day I don't know how he was able to uncork that as the pocket collapsed around him and he disappeared into a sea of bodies.
