Orlando Buffalo Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago 4 hours ago, Doc Brown said: It's plausible if we beat them we could win out and take the division. If the Ravens wake up and the Dolphins who've looked good recently pull off the upset. Pats will be heavily favored in both games though. I'm not sure who holds the tiebreaker if they both finish 13-4 who hold the tiebreaker. If the Pats lose to either the Jets or Phins and we win out we won the division Quote

If we beat them next week we'd need to run the table and they'd have to lose two of their last three games (Ravens, Fish, Jets) to win the division. I think. LOL. 1 Quote
Success Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago The Patriots are fraudulent. That doesn't mean they're not a good team, or a greatly improved team. But in NO WAY are they the best team in the AFC. I'd put 4-5 teams ahead of them, including us. That schedule of theirs. It's somethin'. Quote

New England simply beats the teams they were supposed to including BUFFALO and TAMPA who are two contenders. And this is without a legitimate star receiver, and in all three phases they've been winning - elite special teams (marcus jones is an elite return man, defense and offense as well as the kicking game). What more can you ask? All the other good teams in the league seem to slip up here and there with the exception of Denver who doesn't have New England's offense. 1 Quote

All anyone ever talks about is their schedule. They weren't good last year so like everyone in the NFL..you get the schedule based on your record. No one expected them to win 10 plus games. It wasn't like they were a playoff team or on the verge to be a playoff team last year and the NFL gifted them their schedule.. Every year some teams get a easy schedule. Quote

Something that is missed in all of this is that the difference in schedule is drastic. The Bills play the eagles, the chiefs, the texans. The Bills playing in a much higher level and having much less opportunity for mistakes is a big difference than the Patriots being able to play the giants, the raiders, and the titans And the Patriots did lose to the Raiders. And you can say that doesn't matter because that was the first game of the season or way up there beginning. But the bills showed incredible poise against the ravens. And that was when the Ravens were a lot better team than they are today. Quote
thenorthremembers Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago AFC East Champion merch is overrated anyways. Unless the AFC East Championship gets you the 1 seed, id rather keep the 5 and play Pittsburgh in the 1st round. Quote

Record against common opponents I think? We've come a long way down from hoping for the one seed. Wide open division, we all knew that before the season started, and we've almost blown it. Quote
