Benford was pretty much in the right place at the right time last week on both his scoop-and-score and his pick.  All he had to do was pick up / catch the ball and he got a AFCDPOW award for it.  Today that was a freaking PLAY from start to finish.  No luck at all involved.  I was happy for him.

Of course the fans thought it was over, AND they wanted to get home because it was late game.    

 

Today was a 1:00pm and no one left.  I would coach Allen to not make his first comments after a huge win about the fans past attendance practices.  The comment was did not have a thing to do with the question.

The league and the networks really wanted that narrative of Joe Brrr coming back from the dead to lead his team to the playoffs.  The timing of some of the flags/non-calls today were a little suspect too.

 

 

The holding penalty after the second int. was never replayed. That penalty moved the ball back 20 yards. Allen made them eat it though.

Benford made a very nice play to get his hands up that quick and catch it.  You can downplay it all you want.

Benford made a really athletic play to grab the ball.  This is not basketball, he was weighed down by pads and a helmet and skyed for that ball

The door is wide open for the chiefs to get right back in the 7 seed.  The Colts are done.  Their path is hard with games vs houston, denver and LA

Week 1 was a late game and regular people have jobs and their kids have school.  That would not happen at a 1:00pm game in the snow as we just saw.  

Yeah I agree.  Lots of fans stayed to the end of the patriots game.  We could have sat at the presser and said it would have been a little better if the bills would have stuck around and given better effort at the end of that one.  Just a little jab…
