I will root for the chiefs  but only under these circumstances. Im sure I speak for most Bills fans on that

I struggle with it - it’s not ideal but yeah need a win from the chiefs- also not sure how that’s possible- if that defense plays like they did against the Bills I just don’t see how the Chiefs pull it off- they are a shell of who they were- it’s also December now - whole new ballgame

Let them have a 27-27 tie where everyone gets beat up.

Both sides to the argument are true, you don't want to play Houston at home in the postseason but you also want the Chiefs not to make it.

Agreed Mupps.  This is meant for self interests only.  They most likely will never make the playoffs this year.  My selfish interests is they end up 9-8, to 10-7, and miss the playoffs.  Screw them and get a lower pick in the draft.   Let them feel what mediocrity feels like from their division rivals.  I’m certainly not worried about the Chargers or the Broncos.  I just want one of them to knock off the Chiefs.

Chiefs have a very real shot now with the Colts likely to implode.

Go Texans.

With the Bills win of CIN, we’re in a great spot with tie-breakers over anyone from the North and KC.

Don't worry about the Texans. We're a game ahead of them. If we win out we are practically guaranteed to be the 5 seed (only exception is if LA wins out which is absolutely not happening given their brutal closing schedule). We just have to take care of our own business.

I simply don’t believe Allen loses to the Texans twice in the same season.

Well clearly have a different game plan than letting a concussed Dawkins and one armed Brown stay on islands against the best pass rushing duo in the NFL.

Also, they’re down Settle for the year.  Nothing major, but he’s been a good piece for their interior.

Except for the Texans the other in the hunt teams are not making it. Maybe Baltimore but they need to win the division.

You know who could keep the Chiefs out?  The Dolphins.  They are playing really well (especially on defense) and they have an easy schedule.  Might come down to beating the Pats, who might not have much to play for, in week 18.

Wouldn't Houston have to win the division?  And aren't they at least two games back of Jacksonville?  So the Texans are really just our wild card competition...

Jags can be bipolar, but seem more consistent this year.

Their schedule is a joke.  Maybe one loss.

Theyd be one up on Houston if Texans beat Chiefs, not sure tie-breakers.

Jags have Broncos and Texans have Chargers.   Both teams have 3 cake teams aside from that (Indy being one without Jones)

If KC loses tonight they will have 3 more losses than the Chargers. That is a crazy tight needle to thread to catch up to them. They'd have to win out and the Chargers could only win 2 more games, and even then it would come down to tiebreakers. In fact Denver could do to KC what KC did to Cincy last year. In week 18 Denver plays LA, they could rest all their starters with their seed already locked up and allow LA into the playoffs over KC. Knowing Sean Payton he would probably do exactly that if given the chance.

Go Bills

Of course!

How anyone can’t see eliminating KC is critical is beyond me!

They simply have not been watching the NFL this millennium.

We won't see Houston. We'll be seeing Pittsburgh as the 5 seed. And that is just fine by me

I feel like im going crazy when people say they’d rather play the Chiefs than a team like Houston.

Mahomes/KC in the postseason is different.  How many times do we have to see this happen?

I do think Mahomes has regressed a bit.

I do think their Defense has regressed as well.

I. Don’t. Care.

Rather play anyone than them.
