Beane deserves some criticism, but also credit for developing the best oline depth in the NFL 

 

Grable is probably their most talented backup ot and didn't even play....

 

Lots of teams season goes down the drain losing both starting tackles. Buffalo ran for 250 yds ... Against a pretty good pass rush

Yup fair enough.  For years it was a weakness including the beginning of the McBeane era when they sported one of the least talented o lines in the modern era.  But he has fixed it.

Outside a few penalties and one whiff, Anderson was borderline dominant in the run game, so so in pass protection against the TJ Watt

He had 1st game jitters to start the game but settled in nicely.

True. OL depth is great to have and especially clutch for the BILLS with our running attack. I couldn’t believe how successful the run game was. It reminded me of LeVeon Bell running for 200+ against us every time they played.

Yup. And though I have been critical of him, credit today for Joe Brady on the game plan.

Brings up the interesting issue, if big contracts should be used on tackles, or if those are positions you can utilize lesser paid players.

I had already assumed it would be really hard to keep Vandy around in 2026 given the other OL contracts in play and the fact Grable was ahead of him when healthy. Maybe now he will get a good enough contract elsewhere that it yields something in the comp pick formula. The offseason O-line decisions are going to be very interesting.
