Kelly to Allen Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Beane deserves some criticism, but also credit for developing the best oline depth in the NFL Grable is probably their most talented backup ot and didn't even play.... Lots of teams season goes down the drain losing both starting tackles. Buffalo ran for 250 yds ... Against a pretty good pass rush Edited 1 hour ago by Kelly to Allen 9 1 1 4 1 1 Quote
Coach Tuesday Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Yup fair enough. For years it was a weakness including the beginning of the McBeane era when they sported one of the least talented o lines in the modern era. But he has fixed it. 1 1 Quote
Kelly to Allen Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago Outside a few penalties and one whiff, Anderson was borderline dominant in the run game, so so in pass protection against the TJ Watt 2 1 Quote

Kelly to Allen Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago Thank God we didn't trade Van Demark or Anderson at the deadline. Sometimes things aren't what you think Not saying criticism isn't warranted, but you just don't know Quote

I couldn’t believe how successful the run game was. It reminded me of LeVeon Bell running for 200+ against us every time they played. 2 1 Quote

Charles Romes Posted 56 minutes ago Posted 56 minutes ago Great, Vandy’s going to command $8-14M now. Quote

And though I have been critical of him, credit today for Joe Brady on the game plan. 1 1 Quote
Chaos Posted 45 minutes ago Posted 45 minutes ago Brings up the interesting issue, if big contracts should be used on tackles, or if those are positions you can utilize lesser paid players. Quote
gonzo1105 Posted 45 minutes ago Posted 45 minutes ago We were killing him last week for well sort of the same offensive line. The difference of a week in the life of an NFL fan 1 1 Quote

I had already assumed it would be really hard to keep Vandy around in 2026 given the other OL contracts in play and the fact Grable was ahead of him when healthy. Maybe now he will get a good enough contract elsewhere that it yields something in the comp pick formula. The offseason O-line decisions are going to be very interesting. Quote
