Seems like they knew the exact play was coming from film study. Time to retire that play and maybe create a new version of it. I was surprised they actually ran a RB screen with Ty. I think they may have even gotten like 6-7 yards on it! Quote

He’s one of the very best podcasters and Locked On is clearly the best sports podcast production. He’s knows the pro game so he knows when we’re not good. Like all of us, he loves the Bills. Personally, I can’t ask for more. 🤷♂️ He is definitely one of the best podcasters. I'd rather listen to him then the guys on WGR even. Locked On isnt even a Bills thing. There is one for every team. I think there is anyways. I've seen a few guys from some of the other teams. If they popped up in my feed during the game week, I would try and give those guys a listen as well. The other ones I have watched don't hold a candle to Marino either. I don't think Marino is always right though. Not even sure who you were commenting to but thought I would add my 2 cents. Billsfanatic8989 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Kinda OT..maybe. When is the last time Allen had a really bad game, yet the Bills still won? Just curious. Quote

It’s a minor annoyance given the final score but I thought it was botched pretty badly. Fourth and goal from around the three or four. Just under a minute left and Bills have all three time outs. I’m thinking kick the FG and maybe get the ball back with a chance to add three more given how poorly the Pittsburgh offense was playing. Instead, we go for the TD, call time out after looking at Steeler’s D (that ends any chance of getting the ball back), go back out and commit a penalty ending chance of going for it. Happy we got the FG but just a Keystone Kops sequence. Also, if we miraculously do anything in the postseason it will the Bosa play that turned the season around. Before all that, I wanted to kick the FG. I felt at the time that taking the points was more valuable given how the game was going. Just like in the HOU game, had we taken FGs instead of not making it on 4th downs, we probably win that game. Its not like this game was a shootout or even a team capable of doing what KC does with end of game scoring. In saying that, it was the false start that ruined that. They called TO either because they wanted to see their defense and put their best play in there or they didn't like the play they had called against the D they showed. Not sure. Either way, I am fine with that. I didn't need them trying to rush another possible score after another drive. Those things can result in picks or fumbles as well, which would just have given Pitts another score attempt chance. At the end of the day, people will criticize it no matter what they did in that situation. Quote

Probably against Carolina this year. Not that he was "horrible" or anything like that, but the passing game struggled for the most part Quote

Is that a good thing? I'm trying to figure out how TJ Watt claims their defensive guys are so good, yet he's almost distancing himself from the issue. But I couldn't watch a lot of the game yesterday, so was it really this bad? Did the offense look simple but still had success? Quote

First, the Bills O was without BOTH starting tackles AND was missing their most effective pass catching TE AND were missing 2 of their 3 best WR's. In that situation it's the responsibility of the D to keep them in the game and if possibe force game changing TO's. Second, once ignited the Bills O was dominant - 3 possessions; 211 yards (56, 72, 83 yd drives); 17 points and 21 minutes 45 seconds 2nd half TOP. All true but I think most can see Brady has to go. He just doesn't know how to call or scheme a diversified game plan. He's really running a very predictable offense. The passing game is very problematic and he seems incapable of scheming players open. The Bills offense is too reliant on the run game. Sure it's vital to have a functional running game. Being one dimensional on either side of the ball usually doesn't grasp a Lombardi trophy. I'd say the exception might be a dominant defense which the Bills obviously don't have. I have a hard time understanding the Bills offensive philosophy. Clearly, Brady and others gravitated to a dominant running game at the expense of the passing game. Perhaps, that's an overstatement. The misses on Coleman, WR acquisitions, BEANE, BRADY, and injuries have contributed to the lack of success and consistency. I ask myself often why not go get Allen top notch WRs with speed and and down field threatening WRs? You arguably have the best QB on the planet and you overly emphasize the running game. I don't get the philosophy at all. Maybe I'm off the mark here. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks it's great to be back. Quote

Brady is that clock, and one of his two moments has come and gone. Quote

But I couldn't watch a lot of the game yesterday, so was it really this bad? Did the offense look simple but still had success? Yes. They basically ran 2 run plays over and over, with a few TE/RB passes mixed in for key conversions. It was a simple game plan that the Steelers just couldn’t stop. To play devils advocate… maybe they had more to the game plan? But with Cook and Davis being so unstoppable, Brady never had to dig deeper than than the 3 or 4th play on his sheet? If that’s the case, it was a great win because we won easily and put pretty much nothing on tape for the Bengals. Quote
