boyst Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Ever since Tre did that interview that said the Rams are a football business I've woken up fully to realize that the culture Mcdermott has built is great for the players and healthy. While I have never liked him I realize that's a good quality for rebuilding and helping a team get back to the top. However, it further opened my eyes: we need to be in the business of football. 2 Quote

I really thought the year we moved on from Diggs, Gabe, Tre, Poyer, etc that we were on the way to making football decisions even if it hurt feelings. We were moving on from the guys who brought us out of the drought since they were no longer star players. Fast forward 18 months and we have 3 of those guys back and are apparently considering even more. 1 2 2 Quote
Livinginthepast Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago They have a great coach and GM, They have a stud receiver in Nacua and a Vet QB Stafford who is channeling Brady/Brees late career quality. They looked great yesterday. The only problem is that they might be peaking too early. Quote
Alphadawg7 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago This is why its laughable when I see people on here who think we are, or could, trade 2 firsts for McVay. McVay is the golden boy there, he is LA football. He is what Carroll used to be when he was at USC, untouchable. Not only do the Rams love McVay, but all 307 of their fans in Los Angeles love him too. Plus, McVay is all about that LA life. It takes a tall glass of delusion to think we can trade for McVay. 1 Quote

Fast forward 18 months and we have 3 of those guys back and are apparently considering even more. And that's where I'm getting the decision I'm coming to on Brandon Beane. We had to bring those guys back because it failed decisions with other free agents that we let go, with mismanaging the roster and cap, and worst of all piss poor drafting on the Blue Chip rounds. If we would have kept Mack Hollins and look for a quality free agent we wouldn't have to deal with this Curtis Samuel and Josh Palmer bull####. We would have a third or fourth receiver that can play special teams, and we don't have that. At some point soon we're going to have eight wide receivers on the roster in only two of them will occasionally play special teams. That is a criminal offense in my opinion. We're bringing in defensive line help because we're not getting anywhere with AJ, greg, and Joey Bosa is being safe for the playoff (I hope). I can't fault anyone for Ed's injury, that should happens. But we're seriously about to bring back shaq Lawson 1 Quote

Sweats Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago And people actually thought that the Rams would implode after they made the high stakes wager of going all-in on their last SB and look at them now, still going after the coveted Lombardi without missing a beat. Meanwhile, we don't even know if the Bills will get into the post season this year, let alone a SB showing........with a generational QB at the helm, mind you. UGH 1 Quote

Alphadawg7 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Worst part is that the Rams being this good and loaded with cap space and extra picks is being wasted on a city that barely shows up for their games though lol. But damn, they really set themselves up well for the future. Too bad its being wasted though on a city who doesn't appreciate it. Its early, but not sure this is the draft class to be hunting for a life after Stafford QB...if I am the Rams, I am probably looking to move one of those first for a future first rounder in a deeper QB class. In Summary Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago 2 hours ago, Billz4ever said: Landon Jackson. Couldn't get a gameday jersey then got hurt almost immediately after he did. He didn't look so good in camp or in the preseason games he played in either. He's a project for sure. Poor guy has quite a history of knee injuries. He's someone who may not launch. Quote
strive_for_five_guy Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Someone asked me this past week if I could pick anyone to be the Bills’ head coach, who would it be? Sean McVay was my answer. The guy knows how to win in today’s NFL. Quote
