Steelers 30 Bills 13.

Over by end of the 3rd.  Bills know how to ruin the holidays like no other team.

Van Demark will probably give up 6 sacks alone in the first half to Watt.

what exactly are you talking about?  Our record in late November - December since 2020 is outstanding is it not?

The Bills looked like the worst team in the NFL on Thursday night, and fans are reacting to that.

that is a bit of a stretch, but okay fair enough

It is a stretch, but it felt like that. The Bills got punched in the mouth, and when people see Steelers uniforms, they expect Jack Lambert to walk through the tunnel. I have no idea what will happen on Sunday. I have no read on this team.

I just saw some random Bills highlights that popped up on social media, and it left me with this thought. I wish Josh Allen and Lee Evan’s played at the same time.

he looked like 4.2 speed in the 1st quarter at Houston in 2006

That's wild. The Bills were facing the #1 defense in the league on a short week on the road and scored more than 5 other teams, and other teams had just as disappointing losses (Eagles, Bucs blown out). Bills fans are prisoners of the moment.

There are a whole ton of people here that never let facts obscure their opinion

More like prisoners of their own device

100%

Most Bills fans are in a silo only watching Bills games without realizing how much other teams struggle.  Love that you point out the Eagles, who along with losing yesterday won a 10-7 barn burner against the Packers recently.

And how about the way the Ravens played yesterday?  Did anyone watch that offense against the lowly Jets?  Yikes!

We were the consensus AFC favorite my pretty much everyone.  Media, bettors, and fans.  With our schedule, perceived weak AFC East, and tougher division for the Ravens and Chiefs, as well as starting 4-0.

This wasn’t fans living in delusional land.

The Bills are still one of the betting favorites to win the AFC.  No Matter is correct, all these supposed glaring problems existed in September (in April going back to "inept" Beane's appearance on WGR) -- if it was so obvious that the situation was so effed up then the expectations of glory were unwarranted.  You can't have it both ways.  Either the expectations were unrealistic or it's not over.

Not only how other teams struggle (I would add the Chiefs through 3 quarters), but also how good some of these "bad" teams can be.  I saw much on hear about there was no way we were going to lose to lowly Houston particularly with Davis Mills.  Well, the Texans are 6-2 over their last 8 and the offense has been playing better with Mills.  Yes...the Bills looked bad...but the Texans are not an awful team.

How many LBs will Darnell Washington retire Sunday?

Also, I fear for Josh’s health behind this stinks on ice O-line vs TJ Watt

We watch other games, just differently than we watch the Bills. Our assessment of the Eagles or Bucs is much more rational than our assessment of the Bills. All fans are like that, though. I think most of us would rationally say that the Eagles loss yesterday was just one close division game against a desperate team, but this thread exists on the Eagles forum right now: https://www.eaglesmessageboard.com/topic/13704-season-over-bad-team-one-more-win-left-at-most/

At least a couple of those teams were dealing with mediocrity on defense though.

If Allen can be the same Allen as past Novembers, and Joe Brady can come up with a half way decent game plan that gives this team a chance... there is hope.

People forget... Allen had his worst game against the Texans last year... and the offense had its worst game against the Texans this year...

Good news is, we don't have to play a defense like that again. Only the Eagles concern me in that regard.

The Steelers defense has been allowing a lot of points this year and is nowhere near the level of Houston.
