SCBills Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I have to say.. He is, hands down, the best sports media guy in WNY. Does a great job with Joe Marino on Locked On and is the only WGR show I listen to off Audacy. Hes not over the top and ridiculous like some of these hot takes personalities you can find in bigger markets. His takes are extremely cathartic to hear and typically extremely accurate. It feels like he’s perfectly channeling the frustrations of this fanbase, for years now. And he gives credit when it’s due. Hes not built off negative takes. Just had to shout him out. Hes the one guy in WNY that this southerner makes sure I listen to. 9 3 7 1 Quote
HaldimandBills Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Never listened to WGR. Only exposure was Shoop and the Bulldog and that was awful. I must say I've enjoyed his every day man approach to Bills Squad on Locked on Bills. He is rational and educated enough to ask the type of questions fans want to hear. For any Bills fan who doesn't listen to Bills Squad on Locked on Bills it's a must listen. They don't throw flowers at the Bills and are critical about a lot of things related to the team. Joe Marino and Jerry Ostroski really balance one another's expertise. 5 Quote

Like how Beane and McDermotts posturing through interviews may be pointing to a bit of a rivalry between the two - part of their post trade deadline discussion. Jeremy is goated for taking Beane’s outburst in stride and pretty quickly being vindicated by the teams play this season. 2 Quote
streetkings01 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago As long as I don’t have to listen to Howard Simon anymore lying about all the foods he never ate in his life 🙄 1 Quote

I really like Jerry Ostroski's point of view. 4 1 Quote

I liked this topic.. I think it was the morning show, but he keeps referencing points per possession to show how the Defense, while not good, is doing enough for what one would think a Josh Allen led Offense can win with. I think we’d all agree the Defense has been pretty bad these past two weeks, but giving up 32 in a high possession game isn’t awful. Giving up 23, when 6 of those points came off turning the ball over in FG range, while forcing 6 punts, isn’t awful. Edited 2 hours ago by SCBills 1 Quote
T.E. Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) I really enjoy listening to him as well. He has a reasonable view of the team, isn't afraid to criticize them when deserved, and doesn't come off like a condescending know-it-all like some of the other podcast hosts. Jrb1979 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Is this the same Jeremy White that most hated on cause of how critical he is of the Bills. Asking for a friend Quote
RkFast Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago WGR as a whole is excellent. All the hosts and content are well thought out and they go in depth. There are no hot take merchants like there are in places like FAN in NYC. it’s not to say they can’t be annoying. That’s not the say that they’re never wrong but overall bills related content they put out is very very good. 1 Quote

Asking for a friend I feel like you have him confused with Jerry Sullivan, the former BN sportswriter … sully would definitely have some negativity flowing today, and some of it would have been richly deserved Quote
Bruffalo Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago He and Joe are the best content on WGR. They both had some really good, level headed takes this morning that I think are questions worth asking. 1 Quote
Big Blitz Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago He has absolutely redeemed himself for the tank. Good work JW. I listen every day. Quote
davefan66 Posted 57 minutes ago Posted 57 minutes ago I like Jeremy…mostly. Has some goofy takes at times, talks over Joe sometimes. What happened to his babies was heart wrenching. Used to really like Sal, but feel he has become a bit of a tool. Although I do enjoy his podcast with Matt Bove, who I really like. Quote

Nephilim17 Posted 51 minutes ago Posted 51 minutes ago Bills Squad is great and I watch it a couple times a week and Joe Marino several times. Jeremy doesn't know the Xs and Os like Joe and Jerry, but he's reasonable, listens, and I think he's learning a lot more about strategy from them. He is a good "voice of the fan." Bills Squad is a fantastic YouTube watch for anyone who hasn't given it a shot. Quote
