I think this team is too flawed to do it, but if there was a year make a run as a wildcard, this is the year.  Broncos, Patriots, Colts, and Steelers have not won a playoff game since 2018 or earlier. Experience does matter in the playoffs. Bills, Ravens or Chiefs could find a way to beat inexperienced teams with young or mediocre quarterbacks.

While I agree with the many flaws this team has and blame in rank order Beane, McD (because he keeps trusting Brady although highly predictable), and Brady for obvious reasons. Our WRs don’t get open, Allen is getting killed out there, and we’ll be lucky to win on wildcard weekend.  This is not a championship caliber team.  Not even close.  I’m guessing we’ll probably go 11-6, win maybe wildcard weekend, and then out in the division game.

Where’s Daboll when you need him.

Depending on where the Bills finish they’ll have to win 2 games minimum on the road to advance to the Super Bowl.

Seeing as Josh does not yet possess a road win in the playoffs, this seems apropos.

Do what, precisely? Do you truly believe this team has anything resembling a shot at a championship?

Anything can not in fact happen.

I guess that is an ambiguous statement lol

They did convert a 4th and 27

And? Despite that latter-day miracle, they still lost scoring under 20 points.

The defense has all the stoutness of a baby ***** filled diaper and the offense is remedial. This team has the same odds the Jaguar do to win a title.  ZERO.

What does it matter? This team is in no way a championship contender, and that's the only point of going to the playoffs. It might be better if they don't make it.

Missing the playoffs entirely could force staff and player changes, refocus some of our veteran players, and create a fire for next season. A week 1 or 2 exit in the playoffs will result in the same thing we've seen the last 7 years.

Making the playoffs would result in few to no major changes and allow them to use injuries as the excuse. Sure that's a factor but not the only one.

But even missing the playoffs is no guarantee anything is going to change. This owner has no problem with losing as demonstrated by the Sabres pathetic record and play season after season. If he won't fire Adams he won't make any major moves like replacing Beane and McDermott.

If they want they can blame the coordinators but they're handicapped by the players the GM brings in and the guardrails the HC puts around their schemes.

It all boils down to Pegula's fear and hesitancy to make necessary changes. That's THE  problem.

Right now the Bills and the Lions have the fourth best odds to win the Super Bowl FWIW

Bills best path going forward is winning the next two games and then going full load management the rest of the season. I think we'd only need one more win given the tie breakers we have. Sit anyone and everyone that's hurting the last 4 games.

This team is beat to hell. Seeding (5vs6vs7) needs to be treated as completely irrelevant.

I agree - division hopes are dead.

The Bills need to win out. Simple as that. But that might not be enough. NE could afford two more losses in that scenario. If said losses do not involve the Jets & Phins, they win the East. That loss to Miami was a killer.

I'd rather burn out early, see big changes, and move forward. I don't want to see them sneak in, go one and done, and give the owner any reason to bring the gang back.

Pats might not get past the 1st round of the playoffs, once they start playing good teams.   No team on the AFC is dominant.   Should be a pretty wide open tournament.  Just need to get somewhat healthy and get in it.
