I took a look and nobody seems to have mentioned this. Including the game announcers.

On Tampa's second attempt at a 2 point conversion, Sterling Shepard made the catch but out of bounds. But he would've been inbounds except for the beautiful play by Bishop. Shepard went up two or three yards from the boundary and was going to come down in bounds but Bishop was right behind him and he just carried him right out of bounds so he couldn't get even one foot in.

Happened at 13:35 in the fourth quarter, and held the Tampa Bay lead to one point instead of three.

It was a really nice play.

Didn't turn out to be important. But it could have.

Beautiful play with good awareness, body control, speed and strength.

Good football IQ and awareness there. Bishop could be a very good player for a very long time.

Yep noticed that live it was a great play

Back in the day that would have been called a force out and they will give you the catch.. now you're allowed to carry guys straight out

Yup, remember those days very well, and thought it was a smart rule change.

So glad they changed that rule, I remember losing to Houston (?) back in 2004 because of that rule and that was absurd.

I remember seeing this on the television and thought the play he made deserved more coverage than it got, there wasn't a clear replay and onto a commercial break.

Need to find safety to pair with him in next year's draft.

That player may already be on the Bills in Hancock.  The kid was a 4 star recruit from GA who for reasons unknown went to Ohio State.  He played slot corner mostly on last year’s national championship team, but played safety and corner for the Buckeyes.

This is a nice write up on Hancock.  https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Jordan-Hancock-CB-OhioState

Bishop is going to be a yearly All Pro kind of player. I just have the feeling. He’s just good at everything

lol and I read he was going to be absolute rubbish and we needed replacements for both Rapp and him by the general consensus.

Then was repeatedly lambasted for holding reservations after one break out game…

Full circle and the dichotomy of TBD!

Do think he’s going to be a decent starter. He’s been consistent these last 4 games.

That’s all I can ask for a player. Be consistently dependable.

Like Belichick used to say. “Do Your Job”.

Bishop is going to be a maniac by playoff time if he continues developing at this pace.

he's a maniac now. Best player on this D right now.

I don't think it's any surprise that Bishop has shown remarkable improvement once Poyer moved into the lineup.  Say what you will about his physical limitations now but there is no denying Poyer's football IQ.

I can't wait for a defender to catch a guy mid-air who goes up for a ball 10 yards from the sideline & walk him out of bounds while he struggles to get his feet on the ground. It's technically not against the rules.

It was a judgment call by the Ref.  I hated those.  "Well without being nudged, the WR would have tapped inbounds, so its complete".  It makes it so clean cut taking out a refs opinion.

I’m honestly surprised that we don’t see this more. Anything along the sideline you just try to carry him OB. Changing that rule took away one of those gray area calls, and defenses should take more advantage of it, imo. Well played, Cole!
