They shouldn’t expand teams and make the numbers all wonky. 32 is perfect as is. Just move the Jaguars to London.

I think the short term plan is to simply make it so every team has one game outside the US each year. I think that is why they added the 17th game, so we can have 8 home, 8 away, and one neutral for all teams.

This is how it should be.  Toronto is a big enough market for a game every year.   I volunteer the Bills to play one neutral site game there a year

The AFC South would refuse to have a full-time team in Europe... Not to mention I don't think any American football players want to live there

I would love it if they could give teams a designated foreign city when they are the "home team". We have Toronto, Jags get London, Raiders get Tiajuana.

I am surprised Toronto doesn't have their own NFL team. As you mentioned it is a big market and they already have an MLB, NBA, and NHL team. I can't take the CFL seriously. Football should not have a 55-yard line.

Maybe any non-U.S. teams could rotate their division every year, so that a couple divisions don’t all of the sudden just get stuck with 5 teams?

They are currently renovating the Stadium in Jacksonville in ways that make it a new facility for all intents and purposes. They are going nowhere.

Yeah, do it like this.

You'd be able to host 16 neutral site games each season, theoretically you can do weeks 1-16 that way nobody is going overseas the last two weeks of the season. Cut it down like TNF and those other specialty matchups.

Or they could just not ruin the competitive integrity of the league by putting a team in a foreign country on a completely different continent just for the hell of it.

I agree that NFL teams should remain in the US as it is "America's" game, but you know the league is probably thinking about it if it makes them a lot more $$$$$

Toronto isn’t a neutral site. Given the proximity, it’s a home game.

And yet, it never actually appeared that way as far as crowd noise went.

During the actual games it was a neutral crowd at best and sometimes even an away crowd as it appeared to draw a good amount of Canadians who just wanted to root against the Bills.

I dunno...I distinctly remember hearing an audible "Let's Go Dolphins" chant on TV during the first Toronto game, when we were getting thrashed by Miami. It was probably the lowest point for a franchise that has plenty to choose from.

Tell me how you really feel 😂

I just don't get how that team would reasonably compete. Tons of players are not going to want to play there away from all their family while dealing with weird exchange rate issues on their salaries, they would be making transatlantic flights constantly, etc.

I don’t think any of these guys would be playing for their current teams for free.  It’s all about the money.  Seattle is already tucked in its own corner of the U.S., players on that team have to make flights to the east coast all the time.
