billsherd Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Just keep him and see if light bulb comes on at some point. 1 Quote
4th&long Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago You're not getting nothing for him. Only the bills were stupid enough to draft him so high. He had bust written all over him coming out of college. 1 Quote
strive_for_five_guy Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago He’s not really trade bait, but yea, you try to get whatever you can in return for him. Quote

Certainly not close to return on investment. But these kind of "change of scenery" trades happen all the time within a couple years of a player being Drafted. If there were a team that liked him pre-Draft and/or thinks they can use them differently and get more out of him, I don't think it's crazy to think something like a 5th for Coleman and a 7th could happen. He's not as much of a lost cause as Elam seemed and we were able to get around the same return for him. And teams are always trying whatever they can at WR. Quote
Brandon Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I thought they might try to move him before the trade deadline as part of a deal for a better WR. Barring some major breakout later this year...which I think is highly unlikely...yeah, I would look to trade him for whatever I could. It won't be much at this stage. Quote
5ths the charm Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago 38 minutes ago, Heavy Kevi said: Honestly I don't even care what we get for him. Being on the field is a liability. He's a WR that can't get open so he's rarely a good target for Josh Add to that the forced back shoulder play calls that are a wasted down basically every time. It equates to a wasted position on the field as well as whole wasted plays when they call the back shoulder. And work ethic/character issues? C-ya bud! Can we include a GM and coach with him? 2 Quote
Buffalo Ballin Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Yes, trade him. Get whatever we can. Get younger defensive players or O-line guys in return. I deal with young undisciplined people at my job and young DISCIPLINED people. There's a massive mental approach difference. The young undisciplined are lost at the moment, and many times? They talk a lot of trash, lazy and entitled, and don't want to do much. They don't get on the right path until 5+ years later. That's "MAYBE" on the right path. We don't have "5+ years later." Time to go, Keon. Quote
Delete_Delete_Delete Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago He should probably just go play basketball overseas, dude isn’t an NFL receiver. Taking him off the field is addition by subtraction. By far, the worst pick of Beane’s tenure, especially when you consider the talent available there at the Bills spot. The fact that the Bills opening day WR corps is healthy, and they are giving significant playing time to TWO WR’s who were just sitting there available for anybody team in the league to sign mid season off the street is an indictment of Brandon Beane’s hubris at refusing to address the position properly. Hopefully this situation has knocked Beane down a few of pegs and reminded him that while “he’s been a part of SuperBowl teams” his ass hasn’t won anything yet here in Buffalo, and if he keeps staying the course he’s going to go down in history as the guy who couldn’t get it done with the most physically talented QB ever to lace up the cleats. SC STATE NUPE Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Nah… You’d get like a 6th round pick for him. Hes still cheaper to keep and see how a new regime could use him… 1 Quote

I just think Beane doesn't take to criticism well. If we traded Keon and got some value in return I would be good with it. Let's see what happens. Quote
