Nihilarian Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago This game this week is making me very nervous as if they lose to the Bucs and then have Houston on Thursday they could be done. By done I mean then the following week they face the Steelers, then the Bengals with Burrow back, the Patriots, Browns, Eagles and Jets. Things could go really good or really bad quickly! Instead of a sweep they could be looking at many losses and missing the playoffs. It's all about Bills OC Joe Brady getting his head out of his posterior and finding a way to get any of the receivers on the roster to become valid playmakers. 🤞 1 Quote

The WRs one this team just aren't that good. Quote

I would also guess that Joe Burrow will not return in time to play the Bills @ Highmark. 51 minutes ago, Urban Achievers said: If we look putrid on offense again this week - especially from a scheming players open / pass plays perspective (being much less predictable) - do you think McD pulls a Dorsey? I would guess not unfortunately but curious if anyone else thinks a change is possible. I don’t see it. There’s no obvious candidate on staff to take over. At this stage you’re really talking about changing a play caller as it’s too late to install a new offense. 1 Quote

The offense isn't good enough this season 1 Quote

And who is responsible, in part, for Allen, every bit the equal of Burrow, not having a single WR on the roster who would be considered above average in the NFL? 1 hour ago, T.E. said: He has six total targets this year. Six. Kincaid is playing roughly a third of the snaps. Meanwhile, the receiver getting the most playing time is Coleman. They have no idea how to utilize offensive players. That's why I didn't care about them not trading for Waddle. Who cares? They could get into a time machine and bring back 1998 Randy Moss, and he wouldn't do dick in this system. I saw that Allen's QB rating was 151.5 (from pff) when targeting Kincaid. Yet as you note Kincaid is not on the field as much as the stats demand he should be. Quote

Haha for sure I agree about the in season as he won't be brought in this year. Off season I wouldn't rule it out though. Quote

Why make yourself crazy over stuff you cannot control? AI Overview The Serenity Prayer is a popular prayer asking for the serenity to accept things one cannot change, the courage to change the things one can, and the wisdom to know the difference. It is widely associated with Reinhold Niebuhr, a Lutheran theologian, and has been adopted by groups like Alcoholics Anonymous as a core part of their program. The main message is to focus on what is within one's control while accepting what is not, promoting inner peace and strength Exactly! Sound advice for anybody. 1 Quote

Beane could get let go last week for all I care. His claim to fame is finding JA and he’s middle of the pack at everything else. That said .. other teams in the league that don’t have upper half WR rooms find a way to pass the ball without it looking like an unmitigated disaster on half of their games. And those teams don’t have a Top 5 OL, Josh Allen and James Cook. 1 1 Quote

They do seem to like bringing back familiar faces and by most accounts, the McDermott/Daboll relationship has been fixed and they are on good terms. I would agree there is a higher that 0% chance he's brought back if we need an OC in the off-season. 1 Quote

It sure would be nice to have a competent CB4/WR4/RB2 to be a KR/PR with the actual threat to have a long kick or punt return and fill his role on O or D. At no point this year did I feel optimistic that our kick or punt returner would have a clutch return to help shift momentum and good field position. Codrington was fortunate to make the 53 and stay on it given that I think he has only played 4 games. Should we make the playoffs, our return game has to be better and at least feel like a threat as opposed to just going through the motions, especially on punt returns. 1 Quote
