Success Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago The pessimism here is a little over the top. This team hasn't really passed the eye test so far this year - but we were riding pretty high last week after beating what we know is a very good KC team, despite their record. We absolutely didn't show up against Miami, but it's not like we have skated through previous seasons without having a few ugly games. I'm feeling pretty confident about Sunday. Many here & nationally are ready to write the Bills off this season and will be looking at this game as confirmation. I think the team & coaching staff hear all of that chatter & will show up in a big way. 1 1 2 Quote
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago If we turn around and win this game you’ll have 3 outta 4 against the over .500 panthers, the chiefs and the 6-3 Bucs. That will certainly make a one off bad day in the miserable heat, against the nothing to lose Dolphins feel better. Just win this one and everyone will calm down. 2 2 Quote

The sky is falling types thrive on games like last weeks. Yes it was a stinker but this is a week to week league and the Bills have talented players. I expect them to come out Sunday and win. 1 1 Quote
Low Positive Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago That loss in Miami keeps growing in significance as the week goes on. We'll know by about 2:00 on Sunday if McDermott has lost the team. If this team comes out flat on Sunday and again on Thursday in Houston, the last few home games at Highmark will be ugly with fans booing and demanding McDermott and Beane's heads on a platter. We can all see the window slamming shut and the emergence of another dark period on the horizon, and if Terry does nothing, the fan revolt going into the new stadium will be epic. For me, there is no going back to drought-era apathy and rooting for a lovable loser. We all got a taste of success and will demand nothing short of Super Bowl contention. This has the potential to get really bad. 1 1 Quote

Especially when the game is at home. They've been criticized by fans and media all week... national media are questioning McDermott's job status and if Allen is still Allen? If the Bills come out and flop this week at home vs Tampa we will know this is the season where everything changed. If they come out and play well and beat Tampa, we can put everything aside for now and have hopes that a playoff run is still very real. Quote

If year 1 in the new stadium is disappointing, then they might get fired or at the very least have their jobs on the line if 2027 isn't a good year. Quote

Yeah the Bills were flat last weekend, although if they don’t turn the ball over three times, it’s a totally different game even in spite of that. I think there’s a better chance this team makes the playoffs just fine versus a doomsday scenario. Quote

I think we'll know in the first 2 or 3 plays on offense how the game is going to go. It seems when we come out and look "off" on the first drive, that continues throughout the game. Quote

Everybody here knows, the Bucs will drive for a TD on their opening drive too. Hope the Bills don't go 3 and out either to start the game. I mean, it might be slightly chillier than normal, but that's not out of the "normal range" for November. The fact there is no precip is a big win. Product on the field? People are so spoiled here the last 5+ years it's absurd. Spoiled lol We haven’t even been to a Super Bowl Most of us are too young to remember the Super Bowl years We suffered as fans growing up in the drought The fanbase shows out everywhere the Bills go. Road game takeovers anywhere in the Southeast and a notable presence pretty much anywhere else. They’ve grown stale and you can only summon the energy to care so much year in/year out.. spend so much money year in/year out … when the team looks like the same product we see that loses to KC year in/year out. And that’s if they even get to that point this year This team has no spark, no energy. Josh on some philosophical vibes. Dion can’t even be bothered to acknowledge it’s Super Bowl or bust .. he has to go on 5 minute long diatribes discussing how it’s not. Just give us something to believe in and we’ll be back. A ‘26 1st instead of a ‘27 and we might have Waddle on this team. Cant even do that. GM comes off as the most arrogant guy to ever not win a Super Bowl yet. Fans are starting to reach their limit. But like I said .. that can all change on Sunday. I hope it does. Edited 36 minutes ago by SCBills 1 Quote

I'm as negative as anyone right now, but last week was the first time all season that the Bills went 3 and out to start a game. They have started strong on offense in every other game. Quote
