Also Miami played single high safety today which we don't normally see.   They took away more underneath stuff and dared Josh to throw long but he never did.   He's gonna develop a blindspot to the long ball pretty soon if he hasn't already.

Even MORE reason then to attempt the deep ball. It's absolutely ludicrous

I just think this franchise, coach, roster, all of it, is worn down from wearing the Super Bowl or bust label every year. It's not something that is sustainable from my view. It's a miracle it has gone on as long as it has. It's getting to be time and that argument isn't even about what is fair, just, or right. It's just getting to be time. They need new blood. It could come with pain, but it also could come with renewed perspective and energy.

I mean, do you lack critical thinking skills or something? By halftime we had 4 first downs. 3 of them came right in a row from a first down. 
 

the fact is the Bills game was getting stopped. They were uncomfortable playing outside of their plan and they pressed later in the game. That’s the problem of being 1 dimensional. When that 1 dimension isn’t working then it becomes extremely hard to compensate. Josh had to go complete animal mode just to get one drive going. 
 

I feel like either you didn’t actually watch the game or you are so homer that you are making excuses while drooling at some fake meaningless stats. Did you honestly believe we had the best offense in the league? Come on now.

Another point I will make is.. what's the point of upgrading the wr corps if Brady isn't gonna use them.. I watched Joshua Palmer make plays for the Chargers in a variety of ways.. when diggs was here when brady took over his scheme made it appear that diggs was done and that has not been the case...Even tho Amari Cooper lost a step you're telling me one of the elite route running technicians wasn't able to get open on comebacks and slants ? We sign samuel for big money no touches .. everyone talks about missing the keon Coleman pick but would ladd McConkey even have production in this scheme?

But is there a wr on this roster that would be higher than a 3 on any team in the league? Hell how many wr on this team getting snaps wouldn't even make a practice squad of 31 other teams

It's both. Watching them today in person, we have almost no one ever open past 7 yards. No coverage breakers.

It's McDermott's scheme and the players they've surrounded Allen with.  I'm not going to call Coleman a bust yet, but missing on McConkey is absolute incompetence.  I don't care if he's not an "X", he would make our offense much better than Coleman does.  He has speed and can create space.  Who's doing that consistently for us now?

it was practically garbage time on that last fumble. They were stopped all game. 

QTR 2 Cook doesn't fumble and we score it's 13 to 7.  QTR 3 Allen throws a TD instead of a pick it's 14 to 16.  QTR 4 we score the TD and it's 21 to 16 us.  Allen doesn't fumble and Achane doesn't score the TD two plays later it's either still 21 to 16 or even 24 to 16 us.   We were not stopped all game.  We turned the ball over instead of scoring when we had the chance both in the first half and the second half.

in my opinion it's both, the WR's don't seem to separate or at least separate fast enough but it's also on Brady, why does this guy continue to not get Cook involved in the passing game? If Coleman isn't an outside WR move him into the slot and see if he can become dominant there. Move Shakir to the outside and see if he still has the same juice there. TRY SOMETHING other than just putting out the same stale offense that heavily relies on Cook putting up 200 yards each week.

Shavers takes a full 4 seconds after the snap to work open enough to where he can even get his head around. Against cover 0 that's not gonna get it done. This is a play where if you had an X you could trust to get open the right side of the field would be an automatic read.

 

Miami sent cover 0 and dared one of our receivers to get open quickly. Shockingly they won that bet.

Why is Shavers even on the field on 3rd and goal?
