This team is good enough to beat anyone. But we did NOT show up today. It was a classic trap game, and we fell right into it.

 

And that's on coaching.  And the fact that Allen can't find a receiver open is on the GM.

 

It is well past time for a change. I've supported both McDermott & Beane, but they are truly wasting a generational talent, and what can we hope to have w/ him at this point?  If we get another 5 years w/ him running well, it would be surprising.  

 

I agree 100% about McD, he needs to go, but trap game? I highly doubt the Bills were looking ahead to non confrence Tampa game in Buffalo. McDermott just stinks and it's becoming more appearant each and every game. This is NE and Vrable division now.

And the thing is, the Bills players, GM, and even the owner don't understand how much this means to all of us. They were not here for 20 years of missing the playoffs and losign to the Pats. Heck, Josh Allen was a Tom Brady fan as a kid. So this is something for us to live with. They'll all just move on to other franchises or retirement in their beach-front mansions while we're stuck watching the Pats win 6 more Super Bowls.

I’m sure it is, especially when the owners other pro sports franchise has been a complete 💩 show.  The variable in rich greedy owner’s equation is the MVP generational unicorn at QB who probably wants to know what it’s like to play in a Super Bowl.

 

This is pure speculation on my part, but if they keep running it back with McBeane, I think Josh ends up on the Niners, or maybe the Raiders. For one, he’s too good to keep wasting his career with these clowns, and he owes us nothing. He does owe it to himself to do whatever gives him the best chance at winning a championship as he enters the second half of his playing career. I’d be also be willing to bet anything Shannahan would have zero problem moving on from Purdy for Allen regardless of any cap implications, and while I’m sure Josh loves the fans here, his family and his wife are both out west, so it’s not exactly the hardest sell to 17.

 

While I know Josh wants to win with this organization, the team needs to make a commitment to him in terms of giving him weapons, like Stafford, Burrow, Mahomes, Prescott, Goff, Baker Hurts, etc. ALL have or I think there is a legitimate risk they may force his hand.

What I find mystifying is that it was the same team last week and this week.  Last week they took down--pretty handily-- the team everyone said had hit its stride and was the best in football.  This week, they are obliterated by a really shi&&y team.  I mean WTF?  They simply cannot be as bad as they looked today.  It's like they were asleep.  Maddening.

This version of the Bills has run its course. To be fair injuries have played a big role. But after this game I feel pretty close to how I remember feeling when the run of the 90's Super Bowl teams came to an end with a playoff loss to Jacksonville. Right now we're two games back in the division. Looking at the rest of the schedule I can argue they could finish at 9-8 and out of the playoffs. That might not be the worst thing. A loss in the wildcard or division rounds can no longer be considered a successful season. 

But there are things different from the 90's. Back then Kelly was at the end of his career. Today we still have Allen with about 6 or 7 good years left. The Bills also have Cook and good offensive line group. It would be a re-load not a rebuild. But the defense has too many players not performing to the level of their contracts and the cap space they take up. That's more an indictment of the GM than the players. A fresh perspective and some new energy is needed in the front office and the coaching staff. Is Pegula up to it? That's one big question.

The bills offense did not keep them in the game. Eventually the defense was going to fold, especially with three offensive turnovers. And to make things worse I started Mr. Soft side instead of Juann Jennings as my flex. I knew after his big drop I was doomed. I hate that kid, Mr. Overrated. He is vanilla Kyle Pitts.

KC has won multiple Super Bowls, and we have claimed several Division titles.

 

 

McD can remain if he assembles an experienced coaching staff. Beane needs to be replaced, as his tenure has been a net negative since selecting Allen. Beane is scouting guards in the Sun Belt Conference if another team drafted Allen.

 

How are we addressing the gaps? The old Panthers have all aged out, and the old Bills now make up the entire team.
