He’s lost his mojo because Beane won’t put any friggin talent around him to take the pressure off. You don’t trade a 29 year old Josh Allen, you build around him

The offense performed well in the 13 second game.  The defense allowed 552 yards and 42 points.  That's the side of the ball that got him the head coaching job.  Top it off with not squib kicking it and two abhorrent defensive calls.  It's his worst head coaching performance of all time.  IMO.  I know we need a sacrificial lamb but this was more of a spread out loss.  He was the main reason we lost 13 seconds.

In the eye test, the Dolphins dominated the Bills (particularly in the trenches) to roughly the same degree the Bills dominated the Chiefs a week earlier.

 

The end results: The Dolphins smoked the Bills by 17, while the Bills needed to survive a Hail Mary (which they occasionally don't - see Arizona)

Under Daboll, every play was designed to pick up a first down. McDermott hated that, since it scores too quickly. Brady is running exactly the smallball offense McDermott wants, where it's more important to grind first downs and protect the defense and not put them out there where they get gashed on the regular by anyone who just friggin runs the ball against their zones full of undersized poor tacklers.

 

The Bills coaching staff minimizes the advantages they have on offense, just to protect an obviously incapable defense that is more directly attributable to the head coach. Is it just to protect his reputation? It's maddening. No wonder Allen looks like "***** this *****" after half these series of no-margin-for-error playcalls.

This one was the worst, total incompetence displayed by a Bills team in the McD era.

I still think Jags 9-6 was worse and the loss to Indy that same season where the Colts came in and slaughtered the Bills when Jonathan Taylor ran circles around our defense.  There have also been a few others in the McDermott era that I thought were worse than today (the Nathan Peterman disaster in 17 against the Chargers for one).

Allen had a terrible game. The entire offence sucked.

 

To bad we can't test your bad take.  So let's trade Allen for 4 1st round picks.  My guess is that there are at least 25 teams, maybe more, that would break down the door to make that offer.  The Bills could probably get it to five 1st round picks.  Then after Allen is gone we can see how well McD/Bean do.

Nobody said "trade Allen!" if you want to be a drama queen do it with someone else. Saying he had a bad game, which he did, isn't a knee jerk reaction like "Fire everyone!" its an observation and since you cant dispute anything I said I guess its a correct observation.

 

Padding stats in the 4th quarter in garbage time doesn't mean he had a good game.

Allen made some of his signature jaw dropping plays today and he also made a couple of bad mistakes.  So what.  The problem isn't Allen it's what's around him.  Almost no one steps up to help Allen and the D puts the O in tough situations over and over again.  Throw in same bad coaching decisions and as the game progresses we see Allen get antsy and start pushing.  This leads to both good & bad plays.  

 

My point with the "trade Allen" crap is that some of you people obsess over the little things with Allen while ignoring the huge issues around the organization.  It's exasperating and some of us throw a variation of the Greenberg idea out there for effect.
